Summary: We really enjoyed our stay at this property. We were a large group of kids and parents and all of us had a great time. The property managers were absolutely lovely and very responsive to our requests. The start of our stay was rocky because we hadn't realized that the place has a commercial kitchen located in an inconvenient/separate downstairs area of the lodge. The kitchen set-up assumes that there are staff working in the kitchen who are bringing up food and refreshments for guests and taking down used dishes for cleaning. This is an awkward set up for large families staying at the place (like us) whereby a few folks have to excuse themselves from family activities to go down into the kitchen to cook and clean. The kitchen also had several appliances that were not available for guests to use (e.g., a grill with a hood fan). We made due but this caused us some grief as we started our stay. There wasn't a bbq on site but after we asked for one, the property managers promptly went out to get one, which we very much appreciated. The BBQ saved our cooking experience! Each bedroom has an en suite bathroom which we all loved. The family/games area was amazing as was the outdoor bar/seating area with incredible views. The pool and hot tub are even more amazing than the photos. The nearby lake is spectacular and perfect for swimming. We all agreed that we would definitely stay here again!
