Million dollar view! Adorable cabin in the heart of Lake Martin, just off HWY 34. This 3 Bedroom, 3.5 bath + loft with sleeper is perfect for your family's vacation--and you're welcome to bring the dog! King bed in the master, Queen beds in other bedrooms + loft. Master & 1/2 bath on main, all other bedrooms and baths upstairs. NEW DOCK* with 10’ of water at full pool (full pool by mid-April). Sandy beach excellent for children! Come watch the sunrise with a cup of coffee on the screened porch… you can’t beat it!
There is a public boat launch approximately one mile from the house on Paces Point Road, as well as a few restaurants, Dollar General, ice cream shop, gas stations nearby on HWY 34.
The closest marina by both boat and car is Lakeside Marina. They are great! We recommend contacting them soon to reserve a boat for your trip. River North Marina would be the next closest.

Summary: We were looking for a place to stay on the lake while visiting our son at Auburn. And, we needed a place that would allow our dogs…that always makes travel a bit more difficult. The house is very nicely remodeled and feels very current rather than an old musty cabin! It’s spacious and well appointed with a nice deck and a beautiful dock. The lake is very low in November but the dogs didn’t care, it made for a nice big Sandy beach, and we still had plenty of lake to take out a jetski and do some exploring. Temps were in the 60’s and 70’s so we also had a chance to golf twice at Grand National (45 mins). Auburn campus is also 45 mins away, a little lake grocery is about 10 mins and a full grocery store is 30 mins away. We like being remote and this little point on the lake is perfect. This property is a great value when you consider hotel rooms at resorts are 2x more expensive and not nearly as nice - no brainer. We did expect there to be more basic supplies (salt, pepper, spices, shampoo, soap, etc) and utensils (wine opener, sharp knives, etc). I only share that to complete the picture for you but otherwise a really, really great spot and we will surely rent again. Thanks for having us.

Summary: So glad we decided on this beautiful home from all the choices that we had considered for our Lake Martin visit. The setting and location provided for us “constant eye candy”. We had beautiful views of the sunrises in the morning from just about any location. Some mornings we chose to wake up to the sunrise on the lake in our kayaks. (We brought our own). We also brought our tritoon and enjoyed many outings on the water, evening rides were the best. There was a little beach on the property which was perfect for the children and the dog to splash and play around in. The set up of the house was ideal for a family like ours to come together but find some separation as needed. As nights included boat outings and roasted marshmallows around the fire pit. We can’t wait to come back. The family memories we built are definitely ones for the memory book! You may want to stock up on supplies before your arrival as full grocery stores are a bit of a drive. All completely worth it!

Summary: The place is very nice. Stayed there last Labor Day weekend as well. VIew of lake is beautiful and nice area to float off dock. However, absolutely needs more dishes (had to drive to Auburn for these) and lamps in bedrooms would be nice.

Summary: We loved the location and used the dock and private beach several times a day. The master bedroom and bath were superb. We rated the property a 4/5 overall for 2 main reasons. The provision of basic supplies such as spices and paper products which is never part of the contract but if you are coming for a longer stay, be sure to bring these items to avoid having to venture out for supplies. The second reason for the 4/5 was the minimal furnishings in the bedrooms and bathrooms 2 and 3. They would be perfect for kids however.
