Summary: Communication was terrific with the house manager. It is a beautiful property that we will definitely return to. We like to cook and the kitchen was big and inviting.

Summary: We LOVED our stay at the Hilltop Haven Lodge! It's a beautiful home and a perfect place for our summer vacation. There was enough room for our whole family to spread out and have their own space, but close enough we could all share time together, especially in the hot tub after a long day of hiking! Beautiful property and scenery - we even saw a moose on the road one morning when walking our dogs! Love that the place is pet friendly. It's very easy to get to off the highway, which is convenient, but we also heard noise from the road, which is the only thing at all that bumped one category from 5 stars to 4. An amazing place to stay with a very prompt and easy host. Thank you, Claire and family!

Summary: My husband and I were looking for a mountain getaway to spend a few nights for our younger kid’s (age 5 and 6) spring break. This was the perfect place for us and our 8 month old puppy! A few of us ended up getting sick 2 days prior to our booking and Claire was so understanding and accommodating and was able to push our dates out 1 day to allow some cushion time to recover. We are so glad we waited to come up, we had so much fun Tubing in Fraser and snowmobiling in Grand Lake. We spent a lot of time relaxing at the cabin, we all really enjoyed the hot tub and I loved cooking in the gorgeous kitchen that was very well stocked. We would love to come back in the summer!

Summary: Great place to stay if you are planning to ski in winter park which is about a 20 minute drive from the cabin. Great views and nestled away in a small neighborhood. Overall, we had the best time here. The only exception is that if you are a big group you will run out of water. There was 9 of us and with cooking and showers all happening at the same time after a day of skiing the water will run dry. If it really runs very dry, there won't be water for a few hours. This was our only issue with a big group of people. This is a note directly from the owners on their welcome instructions:"PLEASE NOTE: We are fortunate to live on well water from the Colorado mountains but that means we sometimes run low especially when used for a long time like back to back showers. Please be aware of the water pressure and if you find water pressure is low hold off on running the water. The water constantly refills so after 30 mins or so it comes back."

Summary: My wife and I decided to spend our 20th anniversary in the mountains. This home exceeded our expectations in every way. The views were amazing, and the home is in the most perfect location for just about anything you might want to do on a mountain vacation. My wife and I spent every morning and evening nestled up next to the wood burning stove, enjoying the 360° views of mountains and wildlife. We also spent a lot of our time in the hot tub, enjoying the breathtaking views in the day, and gazing at more stars then I’ve ever seen before at night. The host, Claire, was also very helpful, and accommodating to us during our stay. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking experience a great mountain vacation.
