Positive: Great location, and amenities in the house. It has a homey feel. Having a dishwasher and washer + dryer was great. Well stocked with cleaning supplies.
Negative: The light cords on the fans didn't work well, or not at all. So, we couldn't have the fans running without the lights on in some of the rooms.. Also, it would have been nice to have a full-size ironing board.

Positive: Quiet neighborhood and convenient for everything in Hilo. Decor was beautiful. Frogs outside sang us to sleep! We also really appreciated that we could book a one night stay as we were in Hilo for work and only needed the one night.
Summary: We would definitely return. Excellent experience.

Positive: The house is in a great location close to downtown in a quite neighborhood. It is nicely furnished with comfortable beds, has a well equipped kitchen and comfortable living room. Since it was quite warm when we stayed there, it was really helpful to have AC in the bedrooms.
Negative: The house does not seem to have much insulation. The windows are wood windows that look very old, and some of them were hard to open or close. Even keeping the blinds did not help keeping the rooms cool during the day. Resting in the afternoons outside the bedrooms with AC was pretty uncomfortable since it was quite hot, even with windows opened and ceiling fans running. Fortunately, the house cooled of very quickly in the evenings, too.
Summary: Nicely furnished house with AC in bedrooms close to downtown.
