Kate's Place is a family vacation home only 2-3 minutes (per Google) from Public Beach Access #1 and Gulf Island's National Seashore. Historical "Rosamund Johnson Beach" on Perdido Key, Florida is as impressive as a world class natural beach destination. Johnson's Beach offers 8 miles of jaw dropping pristine coastline, but also offers pavilions, grills, restrooms, park rangers and lifeguards. Visitors may enjoy both the famous sugar white sand beaches and emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico on the South side, and also access the beautiful Intracoastal Waterway on the North side of the barrier island. You will quickly catch on as to why this area is well known as a Boater's Paradise!
Kate's Place offers 2 nice sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with tub/shower combos and a half bath for added convenience. The primary bedroom has a King sized bed with an en-suite bathroom. It also has a small balcony if you would like to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and try to catch a glimpse of the Blue Angels flying overhead on a practice day. The guest bedroom has a full sized bed with a fun twin bunk overhead, to comfortably sleep 3 guests. There is also a sleeper sofa in the family area to accommodate 2 additional guests. Kate's Place comfortably and safely sleeps a maximum occupancy of 6, including all children and all adults. The owners have thoughtfully provided safety gates at the tops of the stairwells to ensure little ones and pets are only where you want them to be. Both bedrooms have room for a Pack & Play and PKRM rents these out as a guest service.
The fully equipped kitchen has been updated with a modern mosaic tile that complements the white cabinets and appliances. It offers a built in microwave, dishwasher, disposal and refrigerator. The family area has a walk out balcony so you can exit the sliding glass door to get a breath of fresh air and listen for the sound of the waves just 1/2 mile down the road. The first floor has an outdoor area that is fenced in for security and convenience. Don't forget ingredients for s'mores because there is a small firepit in the back yard area. Enjoy walking or jogging long stretches of sidewalks or bring your bike or scooter if you like. There is plenty of room to store your bikes, kayak, fishing poles or beach equipment in the single car garage.

Summary: Easy and perfect. The place was exactly what we needed. Only issues was a occasional smell from the sewage treatment plant directly due south of the building. Walkway to the beach per picture was a little hike away.
