Summary: We booked this place for 9 nights over Christmas. My daughter had just finished studying abroad at University College Cork, and we went to pick her up and spend time exploring the place she had called home for 4 months. Clare was fantastic in answering my questions leading up to the trip. She met me daughter to give her access and a tour of the place. And the house was more than comfortable and big enough for four adults. The kitchen was well stocked to do some baking and cooking for the Christmas holiday. And, the laundry machine also was wonderful. The buses ran regularly to and from the city centre. Our only disappointment was that it was a bit of an effort to have to go to the city every time we wanted to go out for something. There was a decent local grocery store in the neighborhood. But, for all meals we found we really needed to drive somewhere.

Summary: We had a lovely stay at this property. A large house well set up for family living. 6 of us stayed very comfortably. Plenty of space, well equipped and family friendly neighbourhood. My kids (5 and 8) enjoyed playing with the neighbourhood children and there was a gorgeous park just down the road with a faery trail that they loved. Would say the location is best suited for those with a car. We didn't have one and had no issues with the bus system. Easily reached town and blarney from only a block or two walk to bus stops. Perfect for a long stay.
