On the water and just 5 miles from Downtown Granbury, this cozy, private home offers everything you’ll want and need to enjoy the perfect vacation. With a large covered boat dock, equipped with a power lift, you can bring your own watercraft or rent one locally and keep it at the house. Also included are a couple of kayaks to enjoy at your pleasure.
This charming 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom private home sits proudly on a lot and a half, on a quiet cul-de-sac, and is a wonderful place to stay. With a plush couch and flat-screen TV, the living room is the perfect place to unwind after a day of skiing, fishing, swimming or exploring all that Granbury has to offer. The home has a spacious, fully-equipped kitchen with plenty of dishes, flatware, high-quality stainless steel cookware, and artistic touches that will make you feel right at home.
The large master bedroom boasts a DUX king-sized bed and a double sink bathroom with a shower. The second bedroom has a queen sized bed and the large third bedroom includes four twin bunk beds. The second bath has a full tub and shower and is adjacent to the living room. Amenities also include a washer and dryer inside the home.
On the outside, covered patio is a relaxing sitting area where you can enjoy your morning breakfast or dinner cooked on the outdoor grill overlooking the water, it’s an ideal place for summer gatherings!
Or, relax on the covered boat dock while fishing and watching the ducks, birds and geese as they land in the private cove where you are staying.

Summary: When we arrived I was terrified due to forgetting the Christmas tree I had purchased for our family Christmas! Then we opened the front door to see a beautifully decorated Christmas tree! My heart was so full! After seeing the tree and being close to tears of pure JOY! I looked around at the home that was decorated to perfection not to mention the beautiful arrangement of flowers on the dining room table. Not a cheap arrangement either!! It was filled with red and white roses along with other flowers (no carnations!) The flowers were pure class and exactly what I would put in my home. Then while I opened the refrigerator to put all the food I had brought to cook for our stay I was surprised again with a nice bottle of wine and the sweetest note attached to it. I was so surprised at the amount of towels that were left for us. Once we unpacked we ventured out to the backyard….WOW! The pictures don’t give it justice! The outdoor patio furniture is even more comfortable than it looked in the picture and I thought that looked comfy. The fire pit was great for evening family time and s’mores. We view of the water was breathtaking. Our family was in love with our Family Christmas destination! This home is so close to the square where we enjoyed shopping, and dining. The history of this precious town is like no other and the people everywhere were so friendly! This was our first visit to Granbury and we will definitely be back this summer!

Summary: Myself and 3 girlfriends thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. We walked in and immediately knew we would be perfectly comfortable. The decor was very tasteful and not overdone, the kitchen adequately equipped and the beds were super comfortable. Even a welcome basket of goodies and a really nice handwritten note on the table let us know we definitely made the right choice in a place to stay. The morning parade of geese down the canal were also welcoming! The host was very prompt in responses and very congenial. We highly recommend the property and intend to return.

Summary: Very clean and nice. Right on a canal that goes to the lake. We kayak first day. Rented a boat the second day. It was hot!! So it limited our activities a bit. Only negative - the refrigerator had issues - had a high temp alarm ringing almost the entire visit. You could silence the alarm - but it came back after an hour. We threw away any perishable food we brought.

Summary: Easy to find, easy check-in. House was just as pictured, very nice. Super clean, which is a must. Well stocked with kitchen stuff/plenty of towels, etc. My kids (and husband) loved the kayaks! We loved being on the quiet canal. Loved the covered porch. Saw a lot of ducks. It wasn't quite swimming weather, but one of my kids couldn't resist tipping her kayak on purpose to have a quick dip. Quick drive into downtown Granbury where we had tickets to Matilda at the opera house. What a fun time! Really suggest checking out their shows. It was really well done! We wandered the square after and had ice cream at Mary Jayne's (I think) that was yummy! Checkout was easy. Owner communication was wonderful from start to finish, quick and super nice. We would love to come stay again!
