Enjoy the island in the best way possible, you'll love your stay in this new construction home on the canal!
Grosse Ile is the safest city in the entire State of Michigan, 10+ years running.
This is a spacious house, the common areas are large and inviting, the deck is 1800 sf and the backyard is huge. Great for a family & friends get-together or kickback. Maximum 8 people in the house at one time, guests per booking only.
Stay in and watch a movie/Netflix in the theater, it has state of the art equipment.
Have a drink in the wet bar while you watch the game/fight.
Grill a steak or burger on the outdoor grill/kitchen, then enjoy it sitting next to the gas fire pit.
Chill in the 6 person hot tub on the deck.
Wind down and read a book or play a board game by the fireplace, lots of books and games available in the office.
Cook instead of going out to eat, the kitchen has everything you need to cook in, even spices, just bring the groceries and please wash the dishes after.
Freshen up in the gorgeous bathrooms, featuring 24"x24" rain shower head, heated towel racks, a jetted tub, and much more.
Relax and enjoy the beautiful and comfortable interior finishes of the house, everything is extremely clean, the beds and couches are very comfortable, and all of the amenities/necessities are available in the house, just bring a change of clothes.

Go kayaking, 2 kayaks available and you have direct access to the canal from the backyard that takes you to open water.
Go golfing, 2 golf club sets available and three beautiful courses right on the island.
Go on a walk or biking, many gorgeous trails to discover and water views to enjoy.
Go on a helicopter ride, or take flying lessons, the private airport is only a few minutes away.
Visit the alpaca farm that's just down the road.
Take a boat tour, they’ll take you around the entire island.
There are many restaurants and shops right on the island.
You will be 30 minutes away from Downtown Detroit, which has everything: fine dining, all 4 major league sports teams, 3 casinos, concerts, beautiful architecture, and much more!

Summary: My girlfriends and I enjoyed our weekend getaway so very much! The house was immaculate, very well furnished, and the layout was great. We really enjoyed the use of the canoe on the canal and the egg swings hanging in the backyard. The theatre room was a nice retreat at night when we wanted to relax and enjoy a movie. Max was wonderful and responded quickly with any questions we had. We would love to return to his house for another girls weekend in the near future!

Summary: This was my first VRBO experience, and it was absolutely fantastic. The whole process was very easy, enhanced by the property owner who was very courteous, gracious, and helped ensure our stay was the best possible. Per my request, he provided names of local eateries and attractions saving us a lot of time to search these ourselves. The house is absolutely gorgeous, and the owner did an amazing job with the renovation. Highly recommended!!

Summary: Watching the sunrise from my bedroom window wasn’t on my to do list and was a welcomed surprise! The house is sooo well put together from the lay out to the furnishings just wandering from room to room (on each level) Provided a perfect mini mental vacation! It was all my family and I hoped for and more! Thanks Maxim Delivered as promised and was totally available, ready & willing to answer all my questions

Summary: This home was a perfect getaway for our family. The location on the island was friendly and quiet. The canal, just off the back yard, made the kayaks, stand up paddle board and canoe so inviting to all. Short trips to Lake Erie were impressive. We would definately stay here again. The owner was easy to work with and fast to respond. The only recommendation for the property would be to complete the small maintenance repairs around the home. Beautiful home and finishes made the stay comfortable, even with a few maintenance items around the home.
