Summary: The following has nothing to do with the rating, it is merely to inform potential renters:Online this is listed as 2 full bedrooms with 2 queen beds plus a common area with a queen sofa bed. This is only a 1 bedroom house. The owners were made aware and said they would fix it on the Vrbo website. Also, being an older restored house, you can hear every movement the upstairs tenants make. And I mean every little footstep. Earplugs were provided in case we needed them for this reason, or the traffic going by, but the noise wasn’t bad enough to use them. Once again, not a big deal, this is merely to inform so there are no surprises. As far as the rating, I give this place 5 stars out of 5! Super nice restored house with everything we needed. Check in was super easy and owners had great communication with me from the start. They are very friendly people in person and it was great getting to chat with them. Also, they gave us some recommendations for restaurants and things to do in the area which was greatly appreciated. If I come back to San Antonio I would definitely use this place again if available. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. :)

Summary: This was the perfect place for a 40+ girls getaway! The property was clean and quiet. There were a couple of times I needed to contact the owner, and she replied immediately and had a solution immediately. I would recommend 100% and stay again!!

Summary: My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. I liked the small touches they added to our stay such as snacks and a small trinket. I thought that was very kind. We did read through all previous reviews so we know how everyone’s experience was prior to our stay. All in all what we had found was improvements made based on previous guests reviews. The windows had added privacy screens and we personally didn’t need the ear plugs. We were located closer that we had anticipated to the river all and other main attractions. We also enjoyed diners that were less touristy and more local and met some wonderful and kinds people along the way. Some things I would recommend is paying a little more attention to cleaning the bathroom. The rest of the unit was very clean but the bathroom needed some additional work. Thankful there were cleaning supplies left so we just cleaned it ourselves. I would also recommend communicating the door code ahead of time and some other pertinent information for guests prior to 24hrs of arrival… especially when traveling. The delay if information added some stress to our trip as we like to have everything laid out prior to our arrival. Also, check the refrigerator after cleaning as the thermostat was all the way on high and it froze our food and drinks. It wasn’t a big deal but something to look for. All in all we really couldn’t have beat the price or the location. We would recommend this place for future guests.

Summary: Good place for price and proximity to downtown/riverwalk of San Antonio. Neighborhood (called downtown east) didn’t encourage walking the 1.5 miles to central RiverWalk area. Facility was very clean; a/c worked well; 4-night stay for two but only two days of coffee; no closet or hooks to place or hang any clothing. Small bedroom and small bathroom.

Summary: It was just right for what we were in town for. We walked to the Alamodome to watch the Texas Girls Basketball State Championship. It was also a short distance from the riverwalk, The property was clean, quiet and quaint. Will definitely book again if ever back in San Antonio.

Summary: The neighborhood is being revitalized, so outside was a not 5-star. But the inside was great. I would have enjoyed having somewhere to hang my dresses. There are no closets. The hosts were very accommodating with our special requests.

Summary: My husband and I booked this for 2 nights, but only stayed for 1 night, as we left a day early for Austin. The space is unique, and the location was good, being very close to the Riverwalk area. I am sensitive to noise, and it was very loud here. We could hear the neighbors upstairs very easily, even though they weren't being particularly loud. The house sits very close to the road, which didn't appear to be a main road, but had a lot of traffic. The bedroom is just feet away from the road. The blinds in the bedroom do not sit against the window, and create a big gap to see in and out of that window, right beside the bed. There was only 1 wash cloth in the bathroom, and there was no toaster, so we had to broil our english muffins. The parking is shared, and we had a hard time getting in and out of the driveway because of another vehicle in the drive that belonged to the upstairs renters. The host was responsive to my messages, which I appreciated.
