This groovy wee house is yours to enjoy for the duration of your visit, it is a newly created stand alone board and baton home that is next to the main house on the property. If you are looking for a rest and restoration or an active weekend, then this will meet your needs. Staying here is easy. You can venture to Waihi Beach, to Athenree Hot Pools, or enjoy cycle trails and walks to isolated bays. The restaurants and cafes are within 10 minutes and will add to your experience. Your host is a licensed taxi operator so is available to take you to your destinations whilst staying here.
Our landscaping is just beginning - and will evolve each month, at the moment you have estuary views across the road and paddocks.

Summary: Beautiful little place all to ourselves. Very clean and still very new build. Everything we could need was included. Very much enjoyed the washing machine for our load of laundry. Bed very comfy. Maggie was very easy to contact and got to meet her at the end of the stay. Very nice!!

Summary: Been to Waihi a few times, but never Athenree, long overdue! Margaret was a great host and prepped everything perfectly :) The place was nice, new, clean and quiet - exactly what we were looking for. Very relaxing and a great experience overall :D!

Summary: Lovely location with a short drive to the beach. Close to a couple gorgeous bays which also has a little walk that you can do. My friend and I had a great stay and throughly enjoyed all it had to offer.
