Summary: The house is an hour from Crater Lake. Unless you stay in the park or in Fort Klamath, you cannot stay closer. This is a small house on a half acre of pleasant Aspen trees. The interior has been nicely redone. There is a comfortable master suite and two tiny bedrooms with 2 twins each. The tiny bedrooms are pretty tight for adults. There is NO wi-fi. I have gotten spoiled by most VRBO owners providing shampoo, soap and laundry soap. This one does not so come prepared.. The house is best suited for a family with small children.

Summary: We rented this for my husband and I, our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter to visit Crater Lake. My husband and I ended up with COVID so we had to stay at a hotel in Klamath Falls. But my daughter said it was a nice stay. It felt very remote to me but everything in that immediate area feels that way. Don’t be thinking you’ll run out to the store…come prepared with coffee and gas.

Summary: The home was very clean and comfortable for the two of us, but can easily fit more. The drive to Crater Lake was enjoyable. Picked up groceries in Central Point before heading to Chiloquin. It's good to be stocked up before arriving.

Summary: All-in-all, the property met our needs for vacationing to Crater Lake. Of that there is no doubt! And we would stay here again if we decided to vacation at Crater Lake in the future. The house is about as close as you can get without actually staying inside Crater Lake NP. The house is located in a spread out “neighborhood” of double-wides, which range in various levels of upkeep and maintenance. But the area was quiet and private, and the house was clean and well-kept. Many parts of the house are updated and very nice. We had a little snafu with getting the key, but that was quickly resolved by Scott (the property contact). FYI: Agency Lake is about 0.7 miles from the house, and we did not see anything in the house that provided information or explanation about the dock at the lake (which is fine since we weren’t really down at the lakefront anyways).

Summary: The home has had several renovations and updates and is in good condition! Nice quiet rural location close to Crater Lake. We did notice a few cleaning issues under the furniture and on the countertops. Please consider leaving laundry detergent for guests, since this is not an easy thing to travel with and stores are not very close by.

Summary: We chose this house because of its proximity to Crater Lake. It took us about 45 minutes to get to Crater Lake. The house fit our needs and the air conditioning did a good job at keeping the house cool. The house is minimally stocked and doesn't provide things like soap for the shower, spices, foil, storage containers, or laundry detergent so you will need to bring your own if you need these things. The grocery stores that we found in Chiloquin where very, very minimual so I would recommend that you buy any groceries that you need prior to arriving at the house.

Summary: Well designed and well maintained house. We enjoyed it. Everyday we met rabbits and deers in the property. During the time of stay we had very hot days but AC helped. Thank you.

Summary: Very good location close to Crater Lake and Agency Lake. Check out Wood River nature reserve for a magical evening walk, 3 minute drive from the property. Try to get there in daylight, though. Last half mile on unpaved packed dirt and gravel, going past “no trespassing” signs on other properties. A bit intimidating. Inside the house, exactly like the photos. Renovated kitchen, two large bathrooms. Heat has been off when we arrived, so it was cold 50F in the house. Took a few hours to warm up. Big fluffy towels and new pillows. Clean. A double seater swing outside. Saw rabbits,, hare, quail, and coyote right by property.
