3 Bedroom Cabin in Hammond

Welcome to the Little Chippewa Point Lodge! Our home has an open floor plan with high cathedral ceilings. There is a new kitchen with hickory cabinets, 2 sinks, full size refrigerator, dishwasher, gas range and microwave. There is a large island and big pantry in the kitchen making it a great space for preparing meals! There are a total of 3 bedrooms in the house. The two downstairs bedrooms have queen size beds. The upstairs bedroom has a full and twin bed. Our loft area comes with a futon for additional sleeping. There are two full bathrooms in the house. One of the bathrooms does have a shower/tub unit in it. There is a large deck on the water side of the house. The deck has a full patio set with 6 chairs and an umbrella. The house does come with your own private dock!

Summary: Very private, quiet and comfortable. If yellow water is a problem you will need to bring water with you. The water had a high sulfer content but was safe to drink per the owner. Couldn't get the WiFi or the TV to work. TV needed some ID number from your own cable company or something. A beautiful spot and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Summary: Beautiful setting, poor communication and maintenance. Delayed access to Cottage due to no key access code or key in Box.Poor communication with Vrbo and property Mgr. No record of payment received day of arrival (Pd in Full 2 months previous). Stove was defective and had to wait for 2 different serviced visits to correct. NO screens on any of the doors. Resulted in infestation of flies throughout cottage. Linens were worn and some towels were covered with dirt and grease. Railings down to dock were lacking and none at all for children or senior adults. Access to floating dock was 3-4 ft. drop/jump. Other then that, we enjoyed our stay....

Summary: The cabin is amazing. We had a great time fishing and relaxing there. We also rented kayaks from the owner and the bay was perfect for kayaking, we took our 3 year old out with us and did great. We had to bring our dog but the owner was very accommodating. We had my husband and I, his mother, our 5 kids age range from 18 to 3, and one of the kids' friends. All of the kids had a great time and can't wait to go back! Would highly recommend this to anyone!

Summary: The cabin is very nice and in a remote location. Mike was easy to get in touch with when needed. We lost power one night and he got in touch with the electric company and it was back on in about an hour. The only recommendation I would make is to replace the sofa. It seems to be very old and worn so we wound up sitting on other chairs and using pillows as for extra cushion. Over all a very nice place to stay.

Summary: This was our first getaway since the pandemic started and it was just right! The property is beautiful. Gives you a lot of privacy with a large deck and dock upfront. The amnesties were perfect. Exactly as described in the posting. The area is also wonderful to explore. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating. Thank you Margarita for all your help and suggestions. Its worth to check out the Boldt yacht house and castle. Overall, a very nice experience and we will be back! Thank you!
