Located in the stunning village of Longparish in Hampshire, The Long Room is a newly built, beautiful oak framed, self-contained single storey house. The accommodation comprises two private double bedrooms, both with stylish en-suite shower rooms, king size beds and vaulted ceilings.
The large open plan central living area, again with a high vaulted ceiling, has bi-fold doors opening on to a smooth, paved patio with garden seating. The living space is spacious and contemporary providing a modern kitchen and dining and sitting areas.
The Long Room is really well equipped with underfloor heating throughout, Wifi, Smart TV, oven/hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer. It is extremely comfortable luxurious accommodation for one to four people.
Being nestled right in the heart of the village, there are many wonderful walks around the Test Valley with the Test Way on the doorstep. And the River Test a stone’s throw away. Plus with the added bonus of having two popular country pubs, a medieval church, post office and village shop!
It is the most perfect place to stay for sight-seeing, walking, fishing or shooting. Or if you just want to escape to the country and have a break, you have plenty of things to do in the area, or you can simply relax!

Summary: Located in the backyard of a cottage. Modern and with lots of love designed place. The landlords live on the same property and are very helpful and friendly. New Nespresso Vertuo machine, so make sure to bring some capsules and have a coffee in front of the house, with a lovely garden. We can highly recommend this place!

Summary: We had an excellent stay at the Long Room. Sarah was an accommodating host that went over and above to meet our needs. The home was very clean and tidy. The area was a great jumping off point for many near by attractions. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood as well.

Summary: ‘The Long Room’ is a beautiful property in the lovely village of Longparish. So warm and cosy, really well appointed and it had everything we could possibly need for our stay. The beds were so very comfortable and the walk in showers, amazing. We received a lovely warm welcome from the owners and well done to them for creating such a beautiful place. They recommended various places to visit, and the two local pubs - we ate at both and the food was excellent. We really do want to return to this special place.

Summary: A wonderful 2 night stay at the Long Room Cottage in Long Parish. This cottage is a newly built with updated amenities and perfectly furnished. The two bedrooms are identical with a king bed and very comfortable bedding. Owner Sarah, is on property and very accommodating. Check in and communication went perfectly. The pub just down the road has excellent food and very friendly service. We can't think of any negatives other than there wasn't a fireplace but the cottage was warm and cozy without it so it wasn't even missed. If we had been there in the summer the large patio area would have been a lovely place to hang out. Highly recommended. Thank you Sarah.
