New suite on south wing of farm house w/ private entry & private bath. Suite has adjustable king size bed could be 2 separate twin beds & is spacious enough for 3rd w/ air mattress or Coleman cot (provided). Layout is large b.r, private bath, kitchenette w/ frig, microwave, & mini oven w/ two stove top burners. Dining table w/3 chairs, recliner, desk, large porch w/ grill. Private setting w/ scenic rural views in Amish Country 15 min to Cook Forest, Tionesta Lake, Deer Creek Winery.
The space
Newly built custom craftsman style suite (over 600 sqft) with master bath, private french door entry, kitchenette with new refrig, new microwave, new mini oven w/ 2 stove top burners. Suite has small dining table and desk along with large wrap around porch w/ furnishings & grill The suite has adjustable king size bed that could be separated into two private twin beds along with room for a 3rd person via air mattress or Coleman cot (provided), wide screen smart tv with wifi , lazy boy, and large stone (decorative) fireplace. The walk in shower has heated floors. Claw foot tub. Stacked washer/dryer is in the suite. The grounds are incredible with scenic farm and water view (large pond with fountain), grazing long horn cattle, timber frame barn, fire pit, gazebo, hiking, fishing, bird watching, and high vantage point from camp estes a primitive cabin w/ porch and private golf driving range ... Private setting with all the modern conveniences.
Guest access
Front and side wrap around porch, picnic area w/ fire pit, gazebo, and feel free to hike, fish the stocked pond, use the paddle boat, hike to camp estes, drive some golf balls, and walk the grounds.. a hiking trail map will be provided.
Other things to note
We allow our Amish neighbors to farm a portion of the farm and sometimes you may see them working our fields or working in our barn... They are really personable but yet will respect your privacy as well... While we welcome any photographing that this place has to offer, we ask that you do not take pictures of the Amish per their customs..

Summary: We took some time to get away for New Years Eve and it was absolutely beautiful! We brought food and utensils because we are use to other places not having such accommodations and were blown away with what they had stocked in their kitchen! We will for sure be back when we need a runaway night and this time in nicer weather so we can explore the area! The shower was heavenly and honestly now we want a heated floor in our bathroom! 🤣😊 Hosts were lovely and super awesome at communicating! We loved the binder of things to do in the area and thought it was cute with the little games to play to keep occupied. They did a great job being thoughtful to guests!

Summary: Beautiful property! Gorgeous setting! Very clean and lovely suite ! Jim helped with directions for hiking, biking , restaurants and made us feel very welcome. Hope some day to return.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on the farm. The suite was spotless, comfortable and had everything we needed for a getaway weekend. We chose relaxing by the fire pit over hiking this time but, we’ll be back. Our hosts were friendly and helpful when we needed them and invisible when we didn’t. When they say make yourselves at home, they mean it!

Summary: Jim and Sue's property is amazing! It is so well kept and impressive. If you are looking for a place to get away from it all, this is it. The house is set back so far from the main road, I only heard two motorcycles pass by all week. No cars. No trucks. You may hear one of the cows trumpeting out a resounding moo if the mood strikes its fancy. I also heard a rooster in the distance on occasion, but he must have been a late sleeper, since it was never before 9am. You will also have the opportunity to view wildlife right from the porch (deer, a rafter of turkeys, and many types of birds). I wasn't fortunate enough to enjoy their appearance, but Jim informs me that a bald eagle and bear sometimes visit. Everything was new, clean, and up to date. The bed has an adjustable base on both sides and the wi-fi was strong. Jim and Sue are wonderful people who really made my stay special and I am now glad to call them friends. I will be returning as soon as logistics allow.

Summary: The owners are incredible and extremely friendly! Very communicative and helpful. The place it self is impeccably clean, has a great set up and is beautiful! The property itself is breathtaking, nestled in the country - it’s a beautiful escape. My husband and son especially enjoyed fishing the pond. And with it being just 15 minutes outside of Cook Forest it made it a great place to stay and be able to explore that area as well. We can’t say enough great things!

Summary: If you want to get away from it all, this is the place to be! Peaceful, serene, wildlife!...not enough adjectives to describe it! The pictures don't do it justice! If you never leave the property, there is lots to do--If you want to leave on day excursions, there is plenty to do as well...the owners have a binder with LOADS of suggestions! We could feel our stress level decrease as soon as we parked the car... The suite is the best we have ever been in, by far--clean, comfortable, bright, and well maintained. However, the best thing about the stay were our wonderful hosts!! So generous and accommodating! We loved our front-porch chats, and look forward to the next time that we are able to return!
