Built in 2020, this spacious beach house offers a great spot for your next family vacation or beach getaway, where guests can enjoy grilling and dining on the partially covered deck while listening to the waves break on the beach. All bedrooms are on the same floor, with the master bedroom (featuring a king bed) sharing an adjoining full bathroom with one of the guest bedrooms with a queen bed. Across the way, the second two bedrooms each feature queen beds and have a full bathroom set between them. There's room for everyone in this beach home, including the family dog!

Summary: Best location on the island. Home comfortably fit 6 kids and 6 adults. Beach right out your door is wonderful. No real complaints, stay was lovely. Only reason it’s not a 5* is because the property has obviously seen some use and there are items needing fixed/replaced. Host (Vacasa) very responsive and helpful. Would stay here again next time on DI.

Summary: The good; it’s Dauphin Island! The deck is nice and lovely swing on a lower deck level. The home was not very clean, the cabinet with the trash cans in it was broken, lots of wear on the paint/finishes in the home. No rugs and the home is very echoey (an issue with loud children). Beds are not very comfortable. The towels ALL were covered in clumps of black hair. The toilet leaked around the bottom and didn’t flush well. The fridge was off when we arrived and we didn’t realize until after all our food was warm. The location is land locked on both sides with houses that are in the water line so you can’t walk the beach either direction without walking right under/by other homes. All in all, not impressed with this house. Just a warning- the photos look much nicer than the house actually is.

Summary: Nice/updated home that is right in the beach (less than 50 yards to water). Beach is somewhat of a small private strip about 150 yards with only a few homes on that strip. Home was newer feeling / open concept kitchen and living room with nice furunitute, and spacious 4 bedrooms with balcony access for two of the bedrooms. Nice propane grill.

Summary: Everything was really awesome until Tropical Depression Alberto came on the scene. This house is down on the far west side of the Island and that is what we loved until we had tidal surge and lost a few of our things under the house and the road flooded. It only lasted for 48 hour, but was devastating for some vehicles near us. And came very close to us. There should be some where to monitor warnings and it should be highlighted in the house somewhere. It should be posted and pointed out to renters. It would be very helpful. Can’t wait to come back.

Summary: The interior of the home was BEAUTIFUL! Swings for the kids and great quality outdoor dining. Plenty of room for everything. Very coastal. Will be back again!

Summary: Nice house, very comfortable. The view from the deck was spoiled by a view spoiling house on the left that looked ready to fall in the ocean. There are lots and lots of stairs. Kitchen is full of the oldest pots and pans you have ever seen.

Summary: We rented Sea La Vie for a family vacation. My husband & myself, our 2 adult daughters, their husbands and 6 grandchildren. The accommodations were absolutely perfect. Plenty of room both inside and outside decking. And YES, we would no doubt rent this property again.
