Summary: The basics of the house, the yard and the lake view were lovely. The neighborhood and the lake itself were not quite what we expected and found that disappointing. This end of lake is extremely shallow and more of a marsh than a lake to frolic in. When you step in you sink at least 6 in into the muck. Kayaking and being ON the water is nice though. And then you can go to deeper areas as well. This house is definitely not represtative of the area. There's not a Google street view available. It was more like a nice house at the end of the Street with a surrounding trailer park vibe. General house, No batteries or dead batteries in most of the remotes. The block knives were unusable that they were so dull and old. The grill is a situation. Besides, generally trying to get this thing lit being a process, this thing has never been cleaned. The amount of gunk in there started some small fires. The whole thing needs to be disassembled and cleaned. The welcome packet stated the fire extinguisher was under the kitchen sink. It was not. The first aid kit was supposed to be in the laundry room. It was not. But the fire extinguisher was. No first aid kit anywhere. There's zero lighting for these step steps off the deck and it's really dark back there. This caused an issue a few times and many toes. One time bad enough to have us looking for that first aid kit that wasn't there. Big safety issue we were not happy with.

Summary: Great for little kids the water in the middle of the lake in the sand bar! Went boating all days. Loved the hot tub! House was nice. Perfect for what we needed for the family. Grill was easy to use. Fire pit was nice!

Summary: I rented this cute rental for our family that was coming into town for my daughter's quinceanera, they all loved it and the views. We definitely recommend for anyone looking to visit in the Jackson area. Very clean and well kept. Landscaping was beautiful. Thank you for sharing your home rental.

Summary: We love the location the layout and feel of the home. It met our needs and we loved the outdoor patio area fire pit and hot tub. The owner/manager was great to work with and responded very timely. We would recommend this place highly. We gave it 5 stars in every category. You won’t be disappointed.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at Gillette’s Lake. The house is well appointed and the landscaping was lovely. The accommodations are great for our family of 6 teens upstairs and parents downstairs plus a room for Gma. Jackson was close for grocery runs. We also visited two blueberry farms that are about 10 minutes away. The lake was shallow but we still rented the owners boat for two days of laid back/slow riding and visiting the sandbar for some play. We went to a bigger lake one day to do some hardcore teen tubing! There is something for everyone here and we felt like we had plenty of room to enjoy a summer week at the Lake. Lynne was a great host and easy to communicate with during and before our visit.

Summary: we truly enjoyed staying at this property. It was perfect family get away. Beautiful landscape, fabulous view of the lake. The house has everything you need. We enjoyed the spacious patio with nice dinning table, fire pit, and built-in Grill. The hot tub was awesome, clean and in perfect working condition.
