Summary: The house is in a great location - very easy to get to. The pictures look exactly like the real thing. It was very clean, comfortable, and well-stocked. The owner was very attentive. I would definitely stay here again!

Summary: My husband and I wanted to be in the Denison area for a couple of days. He needed space to work during the day, so the other bedrooms were idea for that. Check in was a little bumpy as we never received an email with the code to enter the house. I texted the owner and he responded very quickly. There was a minor discrepancy with the online listing in that several pictures of the coffee and wine bar area there appears to be some coffee (in a glass container) next to the coffee maker, as well as some creamer and sugar (in the carousal above the coffee mugs). Those items were not on the coffee bar as expected. I'm a coffee drinker in the morning and would have picked up some coffee, etc had I known those items were no longer offered at the house now. Overall, the house was clean and was in a great location for us to see the people we wanted to see, enjoy good food and do a little exploring. We'll be back down to Denison again and hope this property will be available to stay at. I'll remember to bring coffee next time.

Summary: The house was clean and just as pictured. Check in and all communication was smooth and the response time was very fast. Overall a great experience and exactly what we were expecting.

Summary: This was my very first experience with any kind of vacation rental (we rarely travel and when we do we stay with family) and I have to admit I was disappointed. One of the reasons I picked this place was because it talked about cleanliness in the listing several times (like the cleaning crew and the not wearing shoes in the house rule especially caught my attention because we have that rule at our own house). The neighborhood was good and the check-in was very easy. When we first opened the door the place seemed nice and new and at first glance seemed clean. Then we took off our shoes at the door and 3 steps in my feet were dirty, so the floor had Not been swept. We walk a little further in and see there are at least 2 or 3 dead flies on the floor in every room. In the 2nd bathroom, the sink was dirty and there was nasty toilet paper in the trash can from a previous person. In the kitchen, the outside of the microwave and the countertop was dirty. On the comforter of one of the smaller beds there was what looked like an orange cheeto fingerprint. I contacted the owner (via text because he would not answer my phone call) and sent pics asking him if we had arrived before the cleaning crew. He apologized, said the home had been empty for a few days, said he would have a talk with the cleaning crew, and informed me of where I could find the broom and dust pan. That gave me the impression that the owner was rarely ever at the home and my guess is that the cleaning crew knows that. So my husband and I spent several hours on our first night cleaning and disinfecting everything to our standards. This included disinfecting all the surfaces that our family would be touching, sweeping the floors twice, and washing all the bedding for the 3 beds we would be using. Once we finished that, we thought we were good to go for the next few days, but then we realized we had only been left with not even a 1/4 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. And of course everything was already closed because it was after 11p.m., so my husband had to get up early the next morning to go buy toilet paper for us all. We had no other issues after that and check-out was real easy too. If the place had been clean to start with and had toilet paper, it would have been perfect. I can say that I am glad that at least I did have access to the equipment needed to clean (i.e. washer, dryer, broom, etc.) because you wouldn't get that at a hotel.
