The space
The newly renovated family home away from home provides a genuine sense of warmth with all the luxuries you could ask for. Just take a stroll down the peaceful street and end up at the glistening Lake Munmorah.
This home is complimented by multiple living areas that will easily accommodate the whole family (even two families) including a formal lounge room with a large cosy lounge, a second tv room at the opposite end of the home, bunk beds for the kids or a group of adults, and an open plan living area boasting a sharp sleek kitchen.
The open plan living effortlessly flows onto a beautiful elevated undercover Merbau entertaining deck with a BBQ area and built-in heaters keeping your friends and family warm and cosy whilst overlooking the glistening salt water pool. The outdoor area has 2 seperate entertainment areas. The deck which overlooks the pool and great for a BBQ by the house. The second outdoor area is a few steps away down by the pool which is also under cover. Great for a BBQ and drinks by the pool.
Bed sheets, tea towels, hand/face towels and floor towels are provided, however, guests will need to bring their own shower and beach/pool towels as these are not provided.

Summary: The house was lovely and the set up was great!. We had the best weekend with family and friends round the pool, bbq, games was the perfect getaway! The house was fully equipped, the host and communication with them was great, would definitely recommend!

Summary: Wow, what a wonderful house. Clean, crisp and a real holiday vibe. Scenic walk just minutes from the front door. Comfy beds, everything we needed was there especially as we found it as last minute accommodation. Host was friendly and easy to communicate with. Hope to stay again a much longer stay.

Summary: The home was beautiful, clean & relaxing. The amenities and appliances were great. The beds and pillows were comfortable (even for my husband who normally gets a bad back in hotels and normally brings his own pillow). The outdoor area was accommodating, with both shade and sunlit areas. The kids had so much fun in the pool that they didn't want to leave (nor did the adults). The pool was beautiful and no maintenance (no leaves, no bees or vacuum cleaners for us to worry about). The hosts were very easy, efficient, accomodating and nice to deal with. I managed to lock the sliding door behind me (somehow), leaving my phone & car keys inside. This forced me to reach out to members of the local community, who were absolutely lovely and very willing to help us out (even when trying to enjoy a public holiday). The area was lovely. We had fun fishing off a nearby wharf outside of the local bait shop (Budgewoi Marine Sports) where we enjoyed fish and chips. My family will definitely return to this beautiful place where we had great fun and trust the host to ensure our stay is just what we need.

Summary: Loved Frances' place. She was very helpful from the booking stage to check-in. Such a seamless process. Frances even allowed us an early check-in which was great. The home is very spacious, which allowed everyone in the family to either come together for a drink and use the provided board games, or to have some down time and read a book. The outdoor entertainment area is equally as spacious as the home, providing multiple sitting areas and awesome for BBQ's. Frances was kind enough to allow us to use all kitchen utensils, which included pretty much had everything we needed. Best of all was the salt water pool, which is great even on a very hot day thanks to the pool umbrella and wind sail. Cannot wait to come back with another family next time as there was plenty of room to do so! Thank you for having us. We will be back for sure !!!
