This newly remodeled home overlooks the Atlantic Ocean is part of Sunrise Beach Resort, an exclusive gated community built in 2007 with only 10 other homes. Our home is fourth from the waters edge facing Southwest. Lounge in your private hammock or enjoy the gorgeous tropical landscaping and cool breezes on one of two balconies, dock or poolside, where you can soak up the sun steps from the house. The property also features it owns little sandy beach perfect for sunbathing. Breathtaking southwest views of the blue-green ocean can be seen from the balcony off of each bedroom.
Your boat, up to 24 feet, can be kept at the dock for your entire stay in the calm waters . Looe Key and American Shoal Reef can be seen from the house where you’ll find the most beautiful snorkeling and diving reefs in the keys, along with the excellent fishing. Fish or kayak right off the end of the dock or you can venture out to experience the history and action in Key West located only 17 miles away. In the immediate area you’ll find several very good restaurants, a gym/wellness center, and Cudjoe Garden’s Marina, a full service marina. The only 18-hole miniature golf course in the keys is located five miles away. Bahia Honda State Park and the Dolphin Research Center, which offers dolphin encounters, are other area attractions.

Summary: We had an overall positive experience with the property management, communication was smooth, the location was convenient, and the property itself was clean and well-maintained.However, we did notice a few areas where improvements could make a big difference. The amenities provided were quite minimal, for example, there was a very limited supply of paper towels and bathroom essentials, which can be challenging for larger families.More importantly, the beds and mattresses were quite dated and uncomfortable. Some felt partially broken, and unfortunately, I struggled to get a good night's sleep during our entire stay.This isn't intended as a negative review, our stay was still enjoyable, but attention to these basic comfort and maintenance details could greatly enhance the overall guest experience. A few thoughtful upgrades would go a long way in ensuring future guests have a more comfortable and satisfying visit.

Summary: We had the best time at this property! It was clean and very nice. We loved how the girls could swim in the pool and the boys could be fishing at the dock and you can see everyone. Lots of fun stuff to catch out front. We had the best time!

Summary: My family and I (two adults, two teens) fully enjoyed our trip. This was one of the cleanest rental properties I’ve ever stayed in! We loved having bikes and kayaks available, plus a pool and dock. The night stars were gorgeous and the daytime water views were lovely. Great spot in the lower Keys for access to marinas and the Key Deer Refuge while being quiet enough to fully check out.

Summary: Very clean, nice warm pool overlooking ocean. Went on kayaks! Just be aware if there are older people visiting with bad knees, hips etc., there’s a big flight of stairs to go up and down. I was glad our 93 year old friend cancelled. He would not have been able to get up stairs. But overall it was very nice 2 day stay
