Beautifully remodeled Lake Whitney Lake House - with walk in lake access - No cliff here! This property has 2 houses! The main house + cabin - perfect for grandparents! The Main house offers a Master bedroom, queen bed with on-suite. 2nd bedroom has 2 double beds. 3rd bedroom has bunk bed with twin on top and double below. Sofa makes out into a bed with lake view! Kitchen is large, completely remodeled with large island seating 8 and opening up into family room. Large flat screen TV in family room and DVD player with DVD movies. Wii and wifi on site. Large dining table for additional meal seating and games. Two sets of huge sliding glass doors offer an amazing view of the lake and the beautiful grassy walk down to the lake. The Bunk House offers a main bedroom with a queen bed, a bunk bed with a twin over a full bed. A full bathroom with white subway tile shower (super cute!) and a air hockey table. Great space for the grandparents to get away - or to send the kids so you can have some quite time! On the lake facing backyard we have a table and chairs and hammock to relax and view lake! Fire pit area for camp fire and sommores!

Please note, this is a non-smoking house. If you or your guest smoke outside, please pick up your trash. Any cigarette trash will void your deposit since I'll have to pick them all up. We do not have local TV or cable. Please no cats, owner allergic.

Summary: We had a great time and would be happy to request this property again. The homeowners were be very helpful. Our only disappointments were with the lake water so low we were not able to take advantage of the canoe. We would not have been able to get it to the water safely. With a better understanding of the property I wouldn’t have shared with our family that it would be an option. And the wii is available, but the available games we tried would not play. Otherwise, I believe the property to be accurate to the pictures provided and the overall description. This is often untrue, so we were pleased! *I would note that there is no separation between the bedrooms. This could be an issue for a family looking for that kind of space. And there is a small fenced area around the bunk house with a separate fence around the house that is open in the back. The larger fence does enclose the front of the property blocking the road. This was fantastic for our children and our dogs.

Summary: The house with the bunkhouse fit our needs perfectly. We spent time fishing, walking, playing games together. We saw a grey fox which was a treat for the kids. Not sure if the finding poles in the house were for decoration or use. If use we found most broken or very tangled. We brought our own so our fun was not spoiled. We are sorry to have left some rinsed only dishes our fault thought we had started the dishwasher after dinner last night and had to run this morning it was full.

Summary: First time to Lake Whitney and we really enjoyed our stay. House is great for a large family gathering with plenty of outdoor space for kids to run around. There is a trail from the house to the lake that’s easy to access and as long as it isn’t rough & windy you can get in & enjoy the water without being slammed against the rocks. The marina was really close with plenty of boat rental options made for a fun day on the water! We will be back.

Summary: Very clean. Wonderful view of the lake from large windows. Owners responded to messages quickly to resolve minor issues. (Couldn't find wi-fi password.) Great place for family gathering.

Summary: Excellent time even though lake very high and rough. Enjoyed playing games at house and campfire. Only downer was finding something to do with trash until Monday pickup. Renters before us left it overflowing Would recommend for gathering. Swimming not good for small children because lake deep and drops off quickly

Summary: We couldn’t have enjoyed ourselves more. We had 3 families: 2 families of four and grandparents. Excellent location, lake was beautiful, house was beautiful and was a perfect setup. I’m sure we’ll be back.

Summary: We had a great time with family celebrating our mother’s 60th birthday. The house was clean. Beds were comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook for a group. All of the kids had a blast playing inside and outside. Thank you for sharing your home with us. We will return.
