The beautifully decorated and restored Lake House is situated in the middle of Lake Hopatcong in New Jersey. About 40 miles drive (a little over an hour) from New York City. It has 3 floors all newly restored with amazing attention to detail and style. It has a rustic vibe with a modern feel. You will arrive from a winding road to a u-shape driveway. The side entrance will bring you into the fully renovated and stocked kitchen. Brand new stainless steal appliances for cooking.
Walk pass the kitchen into a quaint dining room with a modern, working wood burning stove. A unique, one-of-a-kind, rustic dining room table will be perfect for a dinner part of 8+. While you are enjoying your dinner you can take in the view of the Lake as the living room and sitting area are aligned with glass windows. This room has many small amazing details that make it very charming.
In the winter you can cozy up in the living room in front of the fire place with a nice glass of wine and a good book. In the summer you can walk right through the sliding glass doors and enjoy the gorgeous lake view with the newly designed porch. Comfortable furniture and Adirondack chairs placed in the perfect sitting positions. We do have a shower outside and YES, it makes a day of swimming and sun bathing in the lake a 'must do'.
When you are ready for bed, you can go upstairs and sleep in the master bedroom. This has a king size bed with sliding glass doors onto the 2nd floor deck facing the lake. Right next store to the master is a queen size bed with sliding glass doors to the same deck. Both have stunning views of peace and serenity. In the front of the 2nd floor is two additional queen size bed with a more secluded feeling. Also on 2nd floor a fully renovated bathroom are also on this floor.
If you want to watch a great movie or play some pool, the 3rd floor is fully remodeled, with 4 queen size beds, high ceiling and perfect for adults and kids to enjoy. The added sun roofs make the room feel open.
The Lake is perfect for swimming, boating, water skiing and jet skiing. We have a nice, large deck right on the lake with a boat house attached. You can enjoy a nice lunch on the deck or sun bathe and relax. Our patio furniture is comfortable and nice.
This house is filled with love and many memories and is great for a couple, a larger family. We are about 5-8 minutes from food shopping and a small town. We have some local restaurants and bars that you can drive and/or boat to.....

Summary: The house was in great shape, spotless, kitchen was well stocked for cooking and spending time there, and Tony was super communicative! Had lots of fun using the fireplaces and fire pits. Great place!

Summary: We moved away from NJ in 2017 and have a lot of friends and family there. We spent an entire week catching up with everyone. We sat on the porch for many hours chatting and watching the boats go by on the lake. It was our favorite part. There are plenty of places to gather. The 3rd floor game room was a hit with the younger crowd. Couldn't have found a better place for our vacation.

Summary: The house and location is fantastic! The house is older with all the wonderful nuances that come with it but it has been updated with all new appliances and furniture and was very comfortable with lots of space. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you would ever need to cook any meal. The shower in the upstairs bathroom was amazing and the water was extremely hot and never ran out. The lake was very peaceful and quiet. I loved taking my cup of coffee out on the huge dock in the morning and sitting and watching the fish jump and enjoying the view. I couldn't of asked for a more relaxing setting. We were also able to enjoy the kayaks and the paddle boards and the grill. Anthony was very easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed. The only downside was not being able to stay longer. I would highly recommend this property.

Summary: We have stayed at many Lake houses over the years but by far Tony's house was the best that we have experienced with all of the water toys available to us, the cleanliness of the house. Being right on the water, floats, fishing poles, kyacks, and of course just lounging on the waters edge. Cant wait for next year. Thank You for your house Richard

Summary: Perfect house, location and amenities for a wonderful large family lake front vacation! The house is exactly as pictured and has everything you need. The dock is amazing and has plenty of room to sit and enjoy the lake! Great communication with host, he makes sure you have everything you need!! I highly recommend this property….our kids and grandchildren had the best time!!

Summary: A family reunion for a nearby celebration in Sparta. This house was perfect. Plenty of room for all. We loved the remodeled kitchen & all the authentic original lake-style charm. The home was decorated beautifully and had many extra special touches. The big fire in the cozy living room made our weekend! This house would be fun in the summer!
