Make your reservation at the Lime Lake Lodge. This newly renovated vacation home is very private and secluded and is a wonderful destination for a relaxing retreat or a romantic get away. Only 2 hours from Chicago, minutes away from Notre Dame, Kalamazoo, wine country, and Amish settlements. Absolutely breath taking all year long with activities to compliment each season. Enjoy fishing, hiking, mountain biking, downhill and cross country skiing, snowmobiling, and golf. Explore this nature lovers dream on the spring fed lake in a fishing boat or kayak which are included. Accessible from the property in an 900 acre county park which is some of the most beautiful property Cass county has to offer. This park has recently been designated an international dark sky park. One of only 2 in the state of Michigan. Don't be surprised if you see an eagle fly overhead as there are a nesting pair in the park. This home has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other has 2 twins. There is also a full size bed in the lower level. There are 2 full baths with showers. The eat-in kitchen is fully equipped and all linens are provided.The house has a large screen porch which is a great place for an afternoon nap or enjoying a meal while taking in the fantastic views. Right off the porch is a landscaped patio with a gas grill and fire pit for all of your outdoor entertaining. Internet access is available as well as TV and a DVD player. This home is not kid or pet friendly and is also smoke free. Owners are on site in case anything is needed, but far enough away to have your privacy respected as well as theirs. Book a weekend or a week and you will be sure to make memories at this nature's lovers paradise. This is the definition of Pure Michigan!!

Summary: Exceptional property on a private lake in a beautiful setting. The house was beautiful with all the amenities we needed. The hosts were delightful and went beyond what was expected to help 2 old people in their 70s and 80s. We stayed 4 months.

Summary: If you’re looking for a place that you can get away from the everyday noise, make a cup of coffee and watch the lake, take a nap on the screened in porch, easily catch some trails into the park, see thousands of stars from the patio, have a comfy bed to crash in after watching the bonfire- this is your place. And the icing on the cake, the hosts are so kind and welcoming. Of the handful of places we have rented over the years, this was the very best experience.

Summary: The location on a quiet secluded lake is beautiful, and close to hiking trails at nearby Lawless Park. Moreover, there is so much to do outdoors within a fairly short drive: hiking, biking, paddling, and we didn’t fish but it looks like there’s plenty of good fishing around. Especially enjoyed biking the section of the Pumpkinvine trail from Middlebury to Shipshewana in Indiana. Thanks Dan and Sheryl for making our stay so lovely.

Summary: You will not regret booking this VRBO. It is the best place we have stayed. The owners are very kind folks. They are there if you need them, but they, by all means, honor your privacy. The home is extremely clean which is a major for me. The grounds are well cared for. The view is beautiful. We hope to return some day. Thanks Dan and Sheryl for sharing your place with us.

Summary: The house was nice and the scenery was awesome. The owners house was a little closer than it relays on the booking. They also checked in on us a little more than perhaps we’d have liked them to. If you have more than two people staying there will be a $60 additional person charge. We went for a Father’s Day retreat with friends and overall a good stay.
