Summary: The house was well equipped with bedding, towels and everything needed in the kitchen. The plunge pool was great for a quick dip. Location was close to everything within a block. Downtown is a good 10-15 minute walk. We enjoyed morning coffee and afternoon card games under the palapa upstairs. Very dusty on fans and any flat surface a lot of burnt out lights when we arrived but that was taken care of as soon as I let the owners know, Still some black mold in places and peeling plaster nothing to serious, We really enjoyed our stat there and the feral cats are going to miss the treats from my husband!

Summary: I changed our location rating from Good to Excellent, because all our neighbours were welcoming and friendly + one immediate neighbour was a Federally and a great help to us, also, a quiet neighbourhood, but central to everything. Accuracy of online listing was right on. Our problems were with cleanliness....not the responsibility of the Owner, but the responsibility of the hired Property Manager. We spent the first two days cleaning (4 of us). Will not go into detail, but it took five days of our precious two weeks before our concerns were addressed and we were paying top dollar....our first week disappointing our second week was perfectly lovely.

Summary: Totally enjoyed our time, staying in a home is so much nicer than a hotel. Quiet and safe neighborhood. The rooms are so spacious, the pool wonderful, and the rooftop palapa always cool and breezy. Within walking distance of restaurants and stores.

Summary: Casa De Jesus was better than we expected. We stayed for a month and it was in a perfect location for us with walking distance to town. There was a nice private pool, the home is sparkling clean, and the outdoor living space on the rooftop was the magical. The manager was amazing and always available to help us with anything.

Summary: Rooftop palapa was my favorite place to hang out at the house. Every morning we had coffee and conversation or just read. In the evening after spending the day exploring the town and beaches we would relax in the pool and then use the rooftop area to play games and chat. Barra De Navidad (the town) was just a short 15 minute walk away where we enjoyed delicious food for all appetites. French bakery, Italian, seafood, burgers, steaks and of course a variety of Mexican flavers and smells. Yum! The beach was pristine and full of every water activity you could desire. Banana boats, jets skis, watercraft inner tubing, kite surfing and just swimming. We took a small skiff to “Mary’s Restaurant” across the lagoon and enjoyed our delicious dinner while listening to music. The skiff was free, the staff were friendly and professional, the drinks were amazing. We also enjoyed shopping in the nearby village that was just around the corner. We ate in at our “home” a few times, buying groceries nearby and enjoyed the local cuisine. We never had a language problem. There was always someone who spoke English who were willing to help us with our needs. Cannot wait to go again. I highly recovered Casa de Jesus!!

Summary: Absolutely fabulous. The house is nicely furnished, with a good king size bed in the master bedroom, great pillows, comfortable seating and a secure feeling. Well worth the money! From the cool dipping pool to the brand new, authentic palapa on the second floor, to the fully furnished kitchen we couldn't have asked for more. The neighborhood is quiet...not once was I awakened by obnoxious music or barking dogs! It is an easy ten minute walk to the downtown, restaurants, beaches and shopping. The streets are well lit and we enjoyed strolling and exploring the area. We would love to return next year with our children and grandchildren. Nicole, Gustav, Hector and JJ were all prompt and gracious with all requests.
