Welcome to Gun Lake! Completely renovated cottage with direct lake frontage! Bring your boat and tie up to the new dock. Very cozy and modern space with many amenities to help you enjoy your time away. There is a master suite with a king bed, a second bedroom with a queen bed and a kids room with queen bed and bunk beds. 2 full Bathrooms and 1 half bath. Home is equipped with central air conditioning. Huge lot for plenty of yard games and a large Firepit area. 2 kayaks, 2 stand up paddleboards and 3 bikes are included for you to enjoy. Ride bikes to various restaurants and ice cream. Tons of great hiking trails very close. Newly renovated Gun Lake Casino is 9 minutes down the road. Snowmobile trails, cross country skiing, state hunting areas are all very close!
Gun lake is a 2600 acre lake. It is known to have excellent fishing and Watersports. Bring your own boat or ask about renting our Pontoon Boat!

Summary: This Gun lake cottage was so much fun! There was something for everyone. The grandkids loved the kayaking and paddle boarding! We loved the pontoon boat! The ping pong table was a nice surprise! The location is perfect for easy access to the beautiful lake! Sitting on the deck is a great spot for watching all the boats going by. All the amenities made our stay very comfortable! The owners are very easy going. They had a basket of goodies waiting for us at check in! We hope to come back again!

Summary: Wonderful place with quick access to Gun Lake. Only recommendation would be to have bike tires pumped up and bikes ready to roll before people arrive at the lake house

Summary: We had very easy access to the lake in the kayaks, paddleboards and pontoon boat. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly. The house was comfortable and full of fun for the whole family. The hosts were awesome. The week we spent here was one of the best lake vacations we've ever had. Thank you for a great time!

Summary: Our group consisted of three generations. The house has been recently renovated and everything has a fresh paint job. It is an older lake home which means it has been added to and expanded over the years, this has resulted in a few levels in the home. This rental is more geared toward summer enjoyment and we went in late spring so although the boys did take the kayaks and boards out the water was to cold for extended trips out. We spent alot of time sitting on the deck watching the ducklings play and the rabbits running around the yard. There is a nice grocery store about 5 minutes away. We did daytrips to Holland, Grand Rapids and a bunch of small towns around the area. The kitchen has the basics including a Mr Coffee and a Keurig. All in all it was an excellent trip and we would book it again when in the area.

Summary: We stayed for 2 weeks during the winter. It was a great stay. The house was clean and stocked with the essentials. Owner left a basket of snacks for us which was much appreciated. Awesome area. Kids enjoyed the ping pong table.

Summary: We had an awesome stay! The home is cute & comfy and has a nice layout. We had a ball playing ping pong on the full size table inside and playing board games in the dining room with many windows and a nice view. The yard is a good size along the lake, and we appreciated the tie out for our dog. We made our first snowman there! We also enjoyed our dinner and dessert at the nearby Curly Cone so much, we went back again the next night. ☺️

Summary: Communication with owner was instant, welcome basket with chocolates was nice. Highly recommend renting a pontoon if you stay here, nice dock. Fire pit was great! Had an issue with our kitty getting in the crawl space, owner is aware of how this happened and hopefully will make the correct fixes so it doesn’t happen to anyone else. All in all was a great get away

Summary: The location was perfect for us as we came up to visit family who lives on Gun Lake. Having the kayaks and paddle boards made the stay more fun than it would have been otherwise for sure. The owner also left some little snacks which we appreciated as we were very hungry after traveling. The place is decorated nicely and it was clean. One bit of feedback would be that the bed linens and towels could be better quality as they were all petty thin.
