Welcome to Shades of Blue, a self-catering beachfront home nestled on the quiet shores of Grand Cayman. This four-bedroom, four-bathroom standalone home is situated on a sandy stretch of private beach and is part of a gated nine-home community on the shores of West Bay. The home, which has its own private pool, looks out on an endless stretch of Caribbean Sea with unimpeded sightlines, giving guests unforgettable azure views.
The home has been newly updated, including a completely renovated patio, which now features travertine tiles, and a refreshed tile pool. We’ve also added new furniture in these spaces and on the beach, plus a new Weber grill for al fresco cooking. Inside, most rooms have gotten a fresh look, while utilities like HVAC have been overhauled.
The villa features three ensuite bedrooms with king beds and a fourth bedroom with a queen bed. There’s a primary king suite on the first floor, as well as a queen bedroom which has a standalone bathroom. Upstairs, find two primary suites, both with balconies overlooking the ocean. One features a large soaking tub while the other has a rain shower.
A spacious patio, complete with barbecue grill, has room for outdoor dining and lounging, while a hammock strung between two palm trees makes for a perfect spot to relax in the sunshine.
The property shares a communal gym and a sport court for basketball, tennis and pickleball, supplies for which are available for our guests.
Shades of Blue is about a 25-minute drive from Owen Roberts International Airport and bustling George Town and just 10 minutes from Camana Bay and Seven Mile Beach, both of which have ample dining and shopping options.
In the immediate vicinity, find spots for snorkeling, diving, horseback riding, kitesurfing, paddleboarding and other water sports. We are minutes away from area favorite restaurants like Calypso Grill, Ristorante Pappagallo, Tukka West, and Nova. Our home is also located near Barker’s National Park, which features protected beaches, mangroves and native flora perfect for a day of exploring; the Cayman Turtle Centre; and Dolphin Discovery Cayman. We’re also a short drive from the Cayman Islands Yacht Club.
While we're in close proximity to numerous spots to explore, you can find everything you need to kick back and unwind at this seaside oasis that's ideal for family getaways and trips with friends alike. We provide a small selection of snorkeling gear, including water socks and shoes, which we recommend using for those looking to explore the ocean out front. We also encourage guests to bring their own, as there are living coral reefs. There are also body boards, pool noodles, rafts, sports gear, books and games for our guests.

Summary: We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property! The communication between the owners and staff was greatly appreciated and very detailed. The property is just gorgeous and our family had a wonderful time and wanted to stay longer. When we had a minor issue that needed to be fixed the property manager Emma was just fantastic in fixing everything in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this property to anyone as it is truly a wonderful experience we hope to someday return.

Summary: Two families - four adults and four children aged 4-8 stayed 6 nights at Shades of Blue for our spring break. Lisa and Emma were perfect communicators. They were always available by text or message to answer questions and provide thorough suggestions for food/beaches/things to do. The home is right on the beach and has an amazing heated pool. We were 10-20 mins away from Seven Mile Beach and less than 10 minutes from West Bay attractions like the Turtle Center and restaurants like Cracked Conch and Nourish and the grocery store. The home was very clean and had everything we needed to cook and relax with our families.We really enjoyed our stay.

Summary: Everything was just right! communication to the well appointed kitchen. We visited with our adult children and we had plenty of space and everything we needed. Views of sunset and sunrise were perfect. Patio area was lovely for hanging out for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. I would recommend and have already. Would stay again.

Summary: We loved the place and thee views were amazing. The location was a bit north of Seven Mile Beach, but everything was super convenient and we liked being away from the hustle and bustle of the main hotel areas. And there were some great restaurants up our way that we hadn’t been to before. We will definitely look this house up again when we come again to Grand Cayman. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. As for the hosts and staff, couldn’t ask for a better host. They were very accommodating to us, especially since we had travel issues. And on the back end, they helped us with airport delays. Communication with easy and very timely. If we had a question, answer was just as quick back to us. They were so helpful and Emma was a joy to work with at the property. She checked us in and was sending us text reminders to help us all week. They were never over barring, but always ready to help quickly. One the the best hosts we have had. Summary: We recently enjoyed a week-long stay at this property with my parents, my husband, our 7-month-old, and me, and it was truly wonderful. The pool and views were breathtaking, and the communication with the property managers was excellent. They had prosecco waiting for us on arrival, and assistance was readily available whenever we needed it. The location is fantastic—just a short drive to the Cayman Turtle Centre, Seven Mile Beach, and Governor's Beach. There’s even a 5-star restaurant about 1.5 miles away. We were treated to stunning sunsets and sunrises, making it the perfect setting for a relaxing family getaway. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!Having a car allowed us to easily visit various attractions and enjoy the island at our own pace. This property served as a superb home base for our adventures, combining comfort with convenience.

Summary: We took a family vacation (7 adults and 2 children) for five nights here and it was perfect! We had no problem calling the hostess if we needed something and always got a prompt response. The house had everything we needed, including g lots of room For us to spread out, pool area and yard very nice, always clean. Beach right out the back door and not far from anywhere we wanted to go. We hired a chef for a four course dinner one night and it was absolutely unbelievable! We had dinner on.y for the adults but when one of the kids wanted to taste the food he (chef Remy) fixed him a small plate. Perfect vacation spot! Area and back
