There is a private beach down the road, with a picnic area, as well as bathrooms. This beach is only open to Island Pond residents and their guests.
Echardt Farm is located a few miles away. The Echhardt family has been permitting families to visit their farm for generations. On the farm, there are many types of birds, bunnies, cows and more! There is raw milk, fresh steaks and homemade ice cream for sale as well!!

Summary: This home was very comfortable and clean. It is very well equipped, and has everything you need just like home. It is on Island Pond which is so pretty. Going down to the pond is tricky as it is down hill and very steep We loved all the pretty lights the owner had around the property. The only negative I would say, it is far away from most activities such as the white mountains, The Flume. We spent a lot of time in the car, so plan accordingly especially if you have kids. Great place to just relax and is very peaceful.

Summary: My husband and I; along with our dog, enjoyed a relaxing week at this beautifully furnished, comfortable home. The scenic views of the lake were beautiful and the lake breeze was so refreshing! We loved exploring this quaint area of New Hampshire and plan to return next year! Joe, Patty and Buster

Summary: The property was very nice and clean. The view of the lake was excellent and was perfect for my family and two dogs. The house in the neighborhood are close but due to the this vegetation and the overall geography of the area it was very private. Also all of the neighbors that we met were very pleasant and we enjoyed socializing with them.
