Tropic Reservoir, another local fishing secret is located a short scenic 20 miles accessed by ATV through Proctor Canyon. In addition Panguitch Lake is 30 minutes accessible by ATV or vehicle.

Summary: The cabin is set in a more remote RV park, but you wouldn't know being there. So quiet, and a gorgeous view. I did let them know I was traveling with a protection & ESA dog, so the unannounced visit from a strange man was a bit of a chaotic (and a tad dangerous on their part had I been in an anxious mindset) surprise. But other than that, this was the best place to stay if you like remote, but with amenities. Don't get me wrong, the staff was incredibly kind, just maybe veto the unexpected visits unless it's an emergency, let someone know you're coming. (We're there to get away from stuff like that) I went to either Bryce, Red Rocks, or Zion almost every day! Do understand the bathroom is detached BUT it is clean, safe (you have your own code to the bath door) and really isn't that big of an inconvenience. Do understand the $100 pet fee is PER pet and they do not honor ALL certified SA. I genuinely loved this cabin stay!

Summary: It was very quiet and peaceful. The Cabin was very comfortable and has everything that you need. It was very clean. On the downside, the GPS took me to the wrong place so be careful because there are very few Internet connections in Hatch so if you get lost you cannot call anyone or look up anything. Also the cabin just had a single fan in the middle and although the temperature got down to the high 40s and low 50s at night returning to the cabin before 6 PM it was very hot. So you may want to bring an oscillating fan. Also, remember that there is no bathroom or shower in the cabin and you do have to walk about 50 to 70 feet to get to the bathroom and shower. They were maintained very well.
