This detached luxury wooden chalet for a maximum of 8 people is located in the village of Hohentauern in Styria, on a sunny slope with impressive views of the mountains, the ski lift and the village.
The chalet offers a spacious living area with an open fully equipped modern kitchen and a bathroom on the ground floor, on the first floor there are 4 bedrooms and another bathroom with a sauna and a luxury shower. The chalet also has storage space for skis as well as a wooden terrace and a balcony.
The chalet is about 200 m from the center and the ski lift. The area is beautiful for hiking and cycling. The Sonnberg lifts – Wald am Schoberpass are 14.2 km away, the Stadtwald lift – Rottenmann 13 km. Summer is best known for the many lakes, thermal baths and the impressive Hohe Tauern mountain range. The more than 200 days of sunshine per year and the snow-sure ski area make this area a perfect holiday region at any time of the year.
The ski lift to the well-known and traditional family ski area Ski Hohentauern with 11 kilometers of slopes is only 300m away and various hiking trails are right on the doorstep. In every season, the chalet and the immediate surroundings offer you and your family the opportunity to enjoy an active and relaxing holiday.
The reception in the Almdorf can only be reached by telephone on Wednesdays.

Summary: Het huis is prachtig, vrij nieuw en schoon. Echter de bedden waren niet heel goed. Er staat bij 200 m van de piste, maar daar moet je je niet teveel van voorstellen. 1 berg en 1 sleepliftje. Minimaal een half uur tot een uur rijden om te skiën. Lachtal is heel leuk. Voor uitgebreider boodschappen doen moet je ook een stuk rijden.. bovenal een klein dorpje met mooie natuur., Maar de auto heb je echt wel nodig.

Summary: wir sind rundherum zufrieden. Schönes Haus mit allem drum herum. Ein Negativpunkt ist doch dabei, die Kissen sollten ausgetauscht werden. Das Wetter machte leider nicht mit, wir haben aber trotzdem schöne Wanderungen unternehmen können.

Summary: Die Anreise und der Check-In liefen problemlos ab. Freundliches Personal. Das Chalet selbst ist relativ gut ausgestattet und hat alles was man benötigt. Einzig das Licht im Vorzimmer war so schlecht dass wir ein Leuchtmittel von einem nicht benötigten Raum dort eingebaut haben damit wir etwas sehen. Zusätzlich ist das Licht im Stiegenaufgang nicht gegangen. (war für uns kein Problem, kann aber aufgrund der Holzstiegen gefährlich sein) Da wir nun bereits zum 2.ten Mal ein Chalet in Hohentauern gebucht haben, wussten wir was uns erwartet und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Das Chalet selbst ist trotz der Kleinigkeiten sehr zu empfehlen.

Summary: This was our fourth stay in the huts in Hohentauern, but unfortunately the level was worse this time. The cottage was poorly tidied - the handle on the cupboard containing the games was smeared with chocolate, the handle from one of the bedrooms was also dirty from something. There was only 1 light in the chandelier above the couch, and still only flickering, we had to put light bulbs from the bedside lamps. The light on the stairwell did not shine at all. I believe that when cleaning costs 130 Euros, it should be done more thoroughly. Otherwise, the equipment of the cottage and everything around was fine.

Summary: Zeer ruime vakantiewoning, netjes en modern. Prima sauna. In de directe omgeving kan prima gewandeld worden, maar veel meer valt er niet te doen. Dorp ligt vrij geïsoleerd en zonder auto moet je hier niet willen zijn. Geen grote steden in de buurt, Linz en Graz liggen beide op circa anderhalf uur rijden.

Summary: Bij de aankomst werden we goed opgevangen en keurig en duidelijk geholpen. Het huis is keurig en compleet ingericht, ziet er goed uit. De omgeving is schitterend.
