Summary: For the price, nids bungalows is fairly unbeatable. Quiet and secluded but still very close to central. Alan and his team are very friendly and knowledgable about Chaweng. I ended up being the only guest staying during the end of my time and genuinely can’t fault anything. A large selection of motorbikes for hire and plenty of tours can be booked through Nids. There’s a 7/11 with cash machines and a currency exchange around for convenience amongst the bars of Soi Reggae. I had the optional breakfast most mornings and it was spot on, eggs, bacon, fruit and coffee. There is a nicely sized swimming pool too, that is clean with plenty of chairs and loungers. Unfortunately it was raining most days (which can’t be helped) but the dirt road along the lake leading to nids did get a bit churned up. Easily manageable if you take it slow on the bike. Thanks for the great stay Alan, much appreciated.
