Positive: Staying at Niribili Home Stay was an unforgettable experience. The staff were warm, welcoming, and truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The property itself is a serene haven — beautifully adorned with bamboo décor, from the architecture to the handcrafted furniture, all made with love and local craftsmanship. The food was another highlight: fresh, flavorful, and entirely organic. Every vegetable served was grown naturally, making each meal feel wholesome and nourishing. What makes Niribili truly special is its connection to our beloved Zubeen Garg. The home stay was inaugurated by him, and there’s even a dedicated room where he stays whenever he visits Majuli — a touching tribute that adds cultural depth and emotional resonance to the place. If you’re looking for a unique, nature-infused retreat with a touch of Assamese pride, Niribili Home Stay is a must-visit.

Positive: Probably the only property with hotel style rooms in the area and we're happy we didn't have to try the bamboo cottages nearby...
Negative: Duck dish for dinner was meagre and over priced. Pooris for breakfast were dripping oil. Bathroom was clean but dated and a clunky experience. Staff are willing but not eager. Housekeeping is lax as a left behind item was discovered 4 hours after we checked out...
Summary: Okay for one night but be prepared for a quirky experience.
