Positive: Nice size room with separate sitting quarters, lovely fireplace w no fuss on/off switch , comfortable beds, coffee bar area w fridge and sink The staff were nice, professional and helpful The main restaurant, The Den, is an amazing restaurant w beautiful design and very very good food and staff
Negative: The balcony door is complicated (pops off track and converts to a lean in panel ) and is made no less so by the instructions on the door and the QR code ! Had to call maintenance to come and fix (which they did promptly) but we didn't want to bother with it again after reshut by staff. This ruled out using the balcony at all (one night stay) Lights in bedroom create ambiance but unfortunately can't be dimmed acceptably. Same goes for the bath lights, bright canned light over the soaking tub Room design and features are lovely but lighting seemed separate from the design/an afterthought
