Positive: Wonderful location on Loch Goil, and Lochgoilhead is a lovely little village. Easy to get to places and The Goil Inn down the road is a treat. We enjoyed the hot tub very much and stargazing on clear evenings were a bonus. We even saw a couple of shooting stars! The cottage is super clean, warm and has everything you need for a self-catering holiday. Comfy bed. WiFi was very good too as I had to work one day and it worked perfectly.
Negative: It's an old house so some floors are a little slanted - but you get used to it and it's part of the charm! Some of the things need an upgrade like the pans and the dining table is a little creaky. The gate's lock also needs fixing as our dog managed to escape one time. Still enjoyed our stay, the location & hot tub made it wonderful.
Summary: Wonderful location, cottage on the loch & amazing hot tub!

Positive: Loved the quiet location, beautiful views and plenty to do in the area. Live music at the Goil in on Saturday night was fab and the foods very good too. Everyone is very friendly. The cottage is Very spacious and comfortable, nice and warm too. Parking opposite was a dream too. There are two lounges with tv’s which gives extra flexibility for larger party’s, however we didn’t use the snug as the main lounge is very comfortable.
Negative: The access up to the hot tub is a bit tricky with the steps being a little slippery and the handrails had some brambles growing over them. The steps could have been cleared from leaves etc., which would have helped, but we were careful so it was fine. Old have done with a dish cloth and a veg peeler and there wasn’t any milk. These are all very small things and really not a problem.
Summary: Had a lovely relaxing week with my friend and had a lovely relaxing week. Many thanks

Positive: Lochgoilhead is such a lovely calm place. Perfect for a time out. The house is spacious, clean and has all the comforts. The hot tub was a highlight in the evenings with a view along the Loch. We had a great time.

Positive: We have just returned from a 5 night stay at No2 Planetree. Wow wow wow...communication was fantastic and attentive, available before, during and post stay. The amenities were just beautiful with exceptional comfy beds in both rooms. Tastefully decorated throughout and immaculate. Spacious with the most stunning views if Lochgoilhead itself from the living room, front bedroom and top garden area with hot tub which we put to good use. The location is idyllic within the little village taking you back in time with the little shop which doubles up as a post office and is cash only. The surrounding area has plenty of walks and the enchanted forest is 3mins walk away near the village school. We have rebooked again and this will be one of many. Highly recommended and looking forward to returning, in fact we didn't want to come home. Thank you xx Wendy & Gary xx

Positive: The property is a beautiful quaint cottage in the wonderful location of Lochgoilhead There’s lots of character about the cottage and its gardens With loads of space, it’s very deceiving from the outside, we had plenty room with four. The cottage could easily sleep 6 comfortably Beds were comfortable and kitchen equipment and utilities good quality The views from our bedroom and living room to the front are spectacular and with the raised patio with hot tub and dining area, they were panoramic Unfortunately the weather was against us but I could envisage a lovely summers day on that patio with family and friends
Negative: The garden is very overgrown and with the weather conditions found the access to the hot tub a bit unsafe. This is an easy fix that would not stop me booking again

Positive: The location of the cottage was fabulous for views of Loch Goil. The cottage it's self is clean and warm, perfect for the time of year we visited. We would definitely stay at No2 planetree Cottage again. My family loved every minute.
Negative: There is nothing I didn't like. I understand the need for a waterproof mattress protectors. Is there a more discreet, undetectable product that could be used?

Negative: I was happy with all aspects of our stay but awareness that the WiFi is a little temperamental but I expected this because of where the cottage is situated.
