Number 2 Porters Court, Hibivillea, is a charming holiday villa suitable for families or couples situated on the ever popular exclusive west coast of Barbados. A prime location set in the parish of St James just north of Holetown with the prestigious Fairmont Royal Pavilion hotel within walking distance.
Our family owned traditional style Bajan villa is one of eight properties located in Porters Court, a secure private development with gated entrance. We have traditional rented direct with repeat guests on a word of mouth basis. Set in stunning tropical gardens, our villa is the ONLY property to offer its very own back private terrace with sun deck, that sets us apart from the other Villas on the Porters Court complex.. A tranquil communal swimming pool perfect for an early morning swim, including sun loungers and shaded umbrellas for your relaxation.
Magnificent white sandy beaches are a three minute walk away, you can enjoy a late afternoon sunset stroll and a cocktail or two. There are numerous restaurants , shops and hotel beach facilities either within walking distance or a short drive along the coastal road.
Hibivillea has been built to a traditional chattel house style, with polished hardwood floors, high pickled pine ceilings and coral lights. It is a stylish yet child friendly villa with suitable entertainment features to make you feel at home. WIFI, Amazon Fire Stick TV with all UK channels and Sky and BT Sports, stereo CD and books are available to read at your leisure.
The property has two large air conditioned en-suite bedrooms with twin beds in each that can easily be made into double beds if preferred. The rooms also enjoy access to our private rear terrace. The lounge and dining area open out via two sets of double doors onto a beautiful outdoor patio with table, chairs and a hammock. All is perfect for dining or relaxing with a book in the shade. The villa enjoys a refreshingly cool breeze flowing between back and front doors when open. A fully equipped modern kitchen includes washing machine , dishwasher and fridge freezer.
On arrival you will be met by our housekeeper or property manager or be given the code to the lock key box ..for access. Jeanine will visit you if not on arrival the next day. Porters Court is a secure complex with electronic gates at the front entrance and access to the beach is from the rear gate activated by security code.
If you require collection to and from the airport this can be arranged and you would pay our driver directly. Grantley Adams International Airport is approximately 45mins away for your information. Shopping can be purchased for your arrival if necessary.

Summary: We are semi retired and trying just getting away for a couple of weeks mid winter. We didn’t want hustle and bustle, just relaxing!! This was the perfect place. So close to everything and getting around was so easy using the buses and walking. We would walk the beautiful beach in the morning and cool off in the pool in the afternoon!! Everyone in the Porters court was so friendly and it quickly became a little community. The villa was as seen in the pictures. We spent a lot of time on the front porch or the hammock. The back deck was quiet and a great place to read a book. We would highly recommend this villa for a relaxing holiday

Summary: Fantastic location so close to the beach. Also enjoyed using the pool. Couldn’t get the TV to work but it didn’t spoil our trip.Really quiet spot, felt very safe.

Summary: The home is beautiful with lots of space. The kitchen is fully equiped, but bring your own tupperware and dried goods. The pool is incredible and the property shared with the other 8 cottages is immaculate. The property is gated and very safe. The beach is a 3 minute walk and stunning. A car is not necessary because the island buses are frequent and inexpensive; we rented a car for ease with travelling further to explore other parts of the island. Would recommend this cottage or other ones in the complex!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay in this very well equipped villa. Both owner and manager very helpful. We did not find the hot tub mentioned in the details. The pool is very nice. For anyone self driving turn off highway one into storehouse road then 2nd right into Patanne gardens and drive straight to the very end to Porters court entrance gate

Summary: We stayed at Sarah's place over Christmas and New Year. Great place, close to beach and amenities. Public transport within easy reach. The villa was as described in rhe listing. Sarah was always contactable abd very kindly arranged our airport pick up. Would definitely recommend.

Summary: We were delighted with everything about this spacious bright and tranquil villa. It was over the road to the beach and yet very private and peaceful. We did not drive but the bus stop was just before getting to the beach so frequent buses were handy to get to the grocery store in Holetown and to venture further in either direction. A couple of small questions we had were answered immediately by the property manager. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Summary: Thoroughly enjoyed Porter's Court both the #2 accommodations and the pool area. Great location for utilizing the fanastic area beaches. Very central to enjoy everything that the Holetown through Speightstown area has to offer, as well easy and convienent to drive to other areas of Barbados.

Summary: This villa was perfect for our needs. It was completely equipped and comfortable for our extended stay. We ate all our meals on the porch and enjoyed the view of the bougainvillea and the smell of the orchid tree. We spent most of our days at the beach, but would enjoy the oasis of calm when arriving back to the villa. We walked to Lonestar and Jumas for supper, but there are also restaurants on the beach for lighter fare. We took the ten minute bus ride into Holetown to Massy grocery store, and then grabbed a taxi for the return trip. Sarah was a delight to deal with and Sheila with her twice weekly visits, kept the villa in tip top shape. We look forward to our return to paradise.
