Updated home in John’s Pond in Briarwood’s quiet, friendly, family association neighborhood.
The Upper Cape has of the Cape Cod amenities without the traffic. Several public saltwater boat ramps, freshwater association & state boat ramp to Johns Pond, one of the Capes largest bodies of fresh water known for excellent fishing.
Enjoy your morning coffee while watching the sunrise or relax in the evening looking over the moon's reflection on the deck or by the outside firepit.
This property has all of the amenities of Cape Cod without the traffic. Located just 15 minutes over the Borune Bridge in Mashpee.
We are close to Mashpee Commons, where you can find shopping and many dining options. Close to New Seabury & several saltwater beaches.
Enjoy a ferry ride over to Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket. Or perhaps take a whale watching tour from Barnstable Harbor, which is a short drive to board a 65 foot catamaran jet boat that fast ferry's to the whale watching sites. Let the Captain do the driving versus driving 3 hours to P-Town.
Our house steps away to a private association beach, playground, picnic area, swim area, boat ramp, dock, volleyball & tennis. This is a perfect home for a family getaway, couples retreat, or a ladies getaway. The possibilities are endless.

Summary: My family has been coming to Mashpee to vacation and visit family in the area for over 25 years and this trip was easily one of our favorites. The house is in a great location, a short walk to the association beach and tennis courts. We spent most of our week on that beach...the kids had a grand time! This house was perfect for my little family and Brad was wonderful to work with....so hospitable, communicative and kind. Also, the neighborhood is very friendly. We hope to come back next year!

Summary: The house was as advertised. The owner, Brad was awesome in communicating. We had a great time .... the weather could have been better, but we made the best of it. I'm looking forward to possibly staying in the summer. John's Pond is a short walk from the house and it's lovely.

Summary: We spent a week in this wonderful place at the end of August 2019. And we had a lot of fun there. Nice and clean place. Very nice backyard where you can find a gas grill, fire pit, spacious deck. Pretty much everything you may need to have a good time. The beach area with a playground is within 1-2 minute walk. And community tennis court is even closer and in a good shape. I can highly recommend that place to stay and have fun.

Summary: We have been vacationing at the Cape for several years now, usually with our in-laws. This year it was just us (2 adults, 8 year old and 3 year old) and we wanted to be close to friends we were visiting. Brad's house was great, we stayed during August and the house was well equipped with ACs so we were all very comfortable and got a good night's sleep. The house is well kept and clean, the water pressure in the tub is great, we were able to do our laundry - so we were pretty much all set. We didn't get a chance to go to John's pond (because we were away with our friends), but it's certainly a walking distance from the house. Brad answered any question we had quickly over the phone, and we got a chance to meet him in person when we were heading out -- he was incredibly nice, and genuinely interested in making sure we enjoyed our stay. Highly recommend this for a couple or small family.

Summary: the house was very clean although the outside could have been much more ascetic. Didn't care to look at the junk on the side of house and the old docks or the junk inside the outer room.. Surprised you could not watch a Red Sox game. We did have good time and the pond was very nice.

Summary: We had a nice week at this place. The private fresh water beach (with playground) was a huge plus for the kids. The property was very clean and well maintained, and the owners were great - flexible on a scheduling glitch, and even got a neighbor right over to let us in when we locked ourselves out. Highly recommended!

Summary: Brad and Pam were fantastic hosts. The house was everything it was promised to be and the location was beautiful. A very quiet street with access to the lake's private beach. For years we vacationed further down the Cape but found the proximity to Falmouth a really nice change. And with all that Mashpee has to offer we could have spent the whole week without leaving town. Summary: It was second time for our family in this house and not the last one for sure. Everything is great about this house: nice quiet neighborhood, clean house and yard, lake beach right around the corner, 10 minutes drive to shops and restaurants and off course the owners, they are the best. Thank you Brad and Pam for your hospitality, looking forward to see you next summer.

Summary: This is an awesome property, its close to Johns pond, a short drive to South Cape Beach, Golf, Mashpee Commons, Restaurants, supermarket, etc..... The home is beautiful, with grill, firepit, everything you need. Brad and Pam were gracious hosts and made me feel welcome the moment I arrived. I loved the place so much I asked if they would rent it to me year round, oh well I tried, but the good news is you get to enjoy this property too!
