Short term rental laws in NYC now make it unlikely we will list our home again, but we are finding it difficult to hide our listing despite including no availability. Good luck to all who are searching but our home will not be available unless the laws change.
Our home is located in beautiful Park Slope, Brooklyn, recently rated the most livable neighborhood in the United States by Money magazine and frequently listed among the most beautiful areas of New York. Commonly referred to as Brownstone Brooklyn, Park Slope has amazing shopping, great restaurants, beautiful buildings, excellent it is only 12 minutes from downtown Manhattan by subway. Our home is a 3 story, fully renovated private brownstone in the heart of Park Slope. We live on a quiet street that is 1 1/2 blocks from the subway, 2 blocks from beautiful Prospect Park and steps from everything.
We have an incredible kitchen with commercial grade appliances, gorgeous light throughout the home, spacious rooms, central air and heating, great outdoor space, and every amenity you could ever want. Our home has the potential of two master suites if you are traveling with another couple: we have a king sized bed in our master bedroom and a wonderful American Leather Comfort Sleeper King Sized Sofa in our playroom (ground floor), where there is also an adjacent luxurious bathroom with deep soaker tub. In our basement is a new home gym and home theater, an amazing respite for our family and yours. There are two twin bedrooms, one with a trundle bed. They are on the same floor as the master suite. Laundry on the top floor with the bedrooms and a second bathroom as well. Very comfortable for a family.
Please note: our home is not suitable for 3 adult couples. If you inquire about a group of 6 adults, I'm sorry to say we will have to decline the rental.
Not pictured in the photos is a large office or the home theater/gym. The office has two standing desks and space for a queen sized air mattress if you are a larger party. We typically use this space for storage during rentals.
Our home is fully stocked with high end knives, pots and pans, small appliances, every oil, spice, sauce or cooking utensil you would ever need. This is our primary residence so we ask that you treat our residence as you would your own. We will make plenty of space for your things so that you feel at home, but you will also have everything you need to be entirely comfortable during your stay.
We do not allow smoking inside or outside of the house. Please do not inquire if you or any of your guests smoke. No parties, no large groups.

Summary: This is THE place to stay in Park Slope. Plenty of room; comfortable beds; excellent bathrooms; and, best of all, a large and superb eat-in kitchen with high-end appliances--cook anything you want, and it will be perfect. Close to Prospect Park with many beautiful walks, and near every possible shopping convenience. You simply can't stay anywhere better. Lovely, helpful hosts.

Summary: We loved this superbly renovated brownstone. Easy commute to the city with the F train and lots of good restaurants make this a perfect home in Brooklyn. The kitchen is great with everything you can think of and the powerful a/c is an asset in summer, too. We can highly recommend this house and Julie, our host.

Summary: Julie's home is hands down the best rental our family has ever stayed! The description and photos of the home are accurate, however it's even more impressive in-person. The house is newly updated with wonderful finishes throughout and a kitchen that's out of a magazine. We traveled with our two young daughters (2 years and 4 months) and it was a perfect setup for our family, with more than enough room for everyone to relax, cook dinners, play with toys, and enjoy outdoor space. When stepping outside, we were surrounded by the best of Brooklyn, with everything we needed within a short walk. We really enjoyed exploring the local food marts, cafes and shops, but the best part was being so close to Prospect Park where we ended up spending the warm summer days, visiting the zoo, splash pad, playgrounds and exploring the woods. When we wanted to venture a bit further, we had easy access to direct subway routes into Manhattan (though we never needed to cross the river). Beyond all this, Julie was fantastic to work with leading up to and during our stay. A consummate host who went the extra mile to provide a a portable baby crib, and plenty of age appropriate toys to keep our kiddos entertained. Despite being on vacation herself, she made sure to check-in to ensure all our needs were taken care of, and answer questions about how to work things in the house. Totally above and beyond. If we are ever so lucky to spend two weeks in Brooklyn again, Julie will be the first person I contact. Thanks for making our stay a truly memorable one, Julie :)

Summary: Awesome brownstone in a fantastic neighborhood. Especially great for kids with tons of room and toys and very sweet kids rooms - everything you need!
