Summary: This boutique hotel is a perfect little getaway tucked away in a quaint part of KC, with many bars and shops within a very short distance. The accomodations are eclectic but very comfy, and the atmophere is very chill in the common area upstairs and in the lounge below. The bartenders were very friendly and I appreciated their knowledge, as I had bever been to this part of the country before. I would definitely stay here again

Summary: No onsite parking or valet in an extremely quiet neighborhood, felt uncomfortable parking. No coffee available, no mention of any in a lobby, did not pass a lobby to enter and no coffee maker in the room. No hangars, was in for a business trip and wanted to hang my clothes for meetings. Walls are paper thin to the point that I could hear word for word what my neighbors were talking about and they were not speaking in very loud tones. The positives were a clean room and easy entry.

Summary: Staying at No Vacancy in Kansas City felt like stepping into the future. The hotel is undeniably hip, stylish western design, and a vibe that still manages to feel warm and welcoming. Our room was spotless and well maintained, and check-in was as easy as it gets—fast, digital, and entirely contactless. For introverts, or anyone who prefers efficiency over small talk, this setup is fantastic. It reminded me of riding in a Waymo: everything you need without the human interaction. It’s a glimpse of what hospitality might look like in the future, and for the most part, it works very well. That said, guests should be aware of the fees. In our case, the extra charges ended up costing more than the base rate for the room itself. Extending time came with an additional fee, and several other line items showed up that weren’t clearly explained. While the space and concept are great, the layers of fees made the overall value feel less straightforward than we expected. Overall, No Vacancy delivers a clean, modern, and efficient stay with a unique approach to hospitality—perfect for those who value privacy and independence. Just budget a little extra, as the fees can add up quickly.

Summary: We loved the No Vacancy. Our room was individually decorated, the parlor area was relaxing and loved the bar with it's Wednesday night, very diverse salsa dancers. The bar tenders were so friendly and led us to a jazz bar for some Kansas City Jazz. We just may return.....

Summary: Beautiful setting, thoughtfully done… Seems like there was detail in everything. Surprised at how quiet it was for the location. It was a Thursday night. I don’t know if that makes a difference . Plenty of walkable food options, and entertainment.
