Summary: A wonderful place to get away with family. This home was stocked with everything a person needed. Really appreciated the fire pit and all the firewood. Beautiful view from the spacious deck.

Summary: The cabin is located extremely close to the town of Nordeg in a quaint little subdivision with other cabins. It is well treed and very private. The owners were quick to communicate the whole way through, even when we accidentally locked the door knob instead of the keypad and locked ourselves out of the place! They got back to us within 45 seconds and all was sorted out for us. The home was actually under advertised I would say, as there are way more beds available than you would think. Upstairs there is a queen size bed in the loft, and a separate bedroom with a larger bed that would fit two, and two bunkbeds as well. There is a large bedroom on the main floor, and then going into the basement, there’s two more beds and a full bathroom. It’s definitely laid out well for a family, lots of kid friendly and wholesome videos and books. There is a cabinet full of games. If it rained during your entire stay here, you would still have a lot of fun. The kitchen was well stocked and the place was clean. We were extremely pleased to see a good healthy stock of well cut firewood for us to enjoy the fireplace! There was more wood than we could use over the three days we were there. We drove to some beautiful lookout points and to the town of Nordeg for a slice of their famous pie. I would recommend it!

Summary: This "chalet" style home was very warm and inviting, in a very quiet community, with fantastic views of the mountains. The place looks great, inside and out. Very well put together. The beds were comfortable, has everything you need. The host, Bryce, was very easy to reach for questions, very helpful and quick to respond. We went out for our anniversary and my parents anniversary, and had a great time, if though there was lots of rain for our stay. Very peaceful, would definitely stay again! Just a tip, if you want to visit; any supplies you may need are about an hour away, so recommend stopping in Rocky Mountain House on your way out, for any food and necessities.

Summary: Overall, we 3 couples had a very good stay for 2 nights. The view was terrific, the host was very responsive to questions, lots of firewood supply for a well sized firepit and there was adequate space. There is room for improvement in the type of kitchen utensils and cutlery in sufficient quantities, more detailed information about the property and checks like the fridge cleanliness....

Summary: This property is a extremely well kept, comfortable cabin that served us well to relax and base our travels in the area out of. All the amenities were as described and every thing was neat and in great repair. The firepit was great in the evening, and everyone enjoyed their stay. As with other reviews the only minor downside is that the property is a little less private than I may have hoped, but that was only a very small complaint. Overall a great stop in the area, hope to be there again in the future.

Summary: Beautiful cabin, open and spacious with everything you need, utensils, condiments, games, coffee, extra bedding layers, wood, camping chairs etc. Watching the sunrise above the mountains in the distance was stunning from the huge windows in the cabin. The area is beautiful, lots of other cabins and trees. The cabin itself has a tonne of room for families with extra beds in a hidden loft down to the basement and an extra bathroom down there too. Very relaxing stay. Great location (Goldeye lake is a 10 minute drive). There are other cabins being built closeby but the noise was minimum. We were very happy with the communication from the host and with our stay and would love to visit again!
