1 bedroom guesthouse on the back side of our large property only 13mi from DT Austin.
Large fenced in yard with luxurious pool and hot tub for use. Please note that the owner lives in separate home on the property. Yard, pool and hot tub are shared spaces, but only with the owner and his family. You have your own sperate entrance to the property using a side gate into the large shared yard. Owners home is on the back side of the pool.
Walking distance to several bars and restaurants with live music on the weekends.
13mi to Downtown Austin, 2mi from Typhoon Texas water park. 8.5mi to Kalahari Resort and 6.5 to the Domain shopping.
High speed internet and SmartTV already connected to Netflix provided

Summary: We had an amazing time! We booked this getaway for my boyfriend’s birthday and we arrived to a very clean place with a bottle of wine and a birthday cupcake waiting for us. The place was super cute, cozy and close to shops and food. Would 100% stay here again!

Summary: I'd be shocked if this property was 'cleaned' prior to our stay. Glad I took pictures first...used coffee pod left in Keurig, food scraps left in sink, spider egg sacs in almost every corner wall, unidentified stains on bedding and bed spread to name a few things. Tried to contact owner first night but no response. Fortunately we are avid RV campers and carry our own linens (bed sacks) and towels otherwise would have had to leave. Removed and folded up owners stuff to a corner and used our own. Second night asked for hot tub to be activated but owner did not see request in time. We decided not to stay our last night after actually seeing the active spiders and then a couple of huge roaches! We live in TX and I'm used to critters, just not IN the house. When shared with owner why leaving they said if we had told them on the first day (I tried) every thing could have been easily remedied. The owner, did, without request, graciously refund us 2 nights of our 3 night stay and asked that we NOT leave a review since he gave consideration. I appreciated that, but now that we've stayed at several stellar VRBO properties since then, I think others considering this one in Flugerville should know what they are actually getting. If you're prepared to completely clean the unit before occupying, spray with roach, ant and spider repellant, take your own linens and towels then go for it. Not in the greatest part of town, on street parking, access to owners back yard through side gate, etc. I debated on leaving review and after long consideration believe that doing the right thing is leaving a review. I fully expect I'll take some flack from the owner based on how he has responded to other guests who have not rated them as 5 stars. I believe the refund came about because I have pictures of everything supporting what I've written. Many of which I shared with the owner.
