This 2800 square foot farm house is located on the North Fork Chetco River. As a tributary of the Chetco this river is more of a large creek. There are deep pools but more wading areas for small children. With a mile of river frontage guests can wander along river up or down. From the north bank Chetco river road guests drive on 3/4 mile of flat gravel through farm buildings, river bottomlands, and myrtle wood groves to their secluded destination. Pastures house horses that are boarded on the premises in one of the many barns. Scottish Highland cattle reside in the fields bordering the house. In the summer orchard trees are right off the deck for picking apples, plums and pears. Built in the early 90's, this home boasts an updated kitchen and a game room complete with custom bar and pool table overlooking farmland in every direction. Wood floors, large windows and vaulted ceilings in living room look out over deck and river. Summary: This is a great country property on the banks of the North Fork of the Chetco We all really enjoyed our stay. Great amenities in the back porch overlooking the Creek had a gas grill the meat cooking and entertaining a beautiful place to be I would go back here anytime again

Summary: We had a great time and the location was perfect for us. We had a family reunion up the road at Loeb state park and this property was perfect to stay in and do the food prep and food storage at and then hang out with everyone throughout the day up river. Chatting with the cows was fun, they are very talkative when you talk to them first! Thank you so much!

Summary: THE most relaxing home we have come across using VRBO. The rooms/beds are extremely comfortable and clean. Great upstairs area with pool table and bar, ping pong in the garage. The shallow stream right outside the home has plenty of frogs to keep the littles busy. Brand new bbq, hammock, and comfy chairs on the porch overlooking the stream. Watched the deer drink from the stream and graze on the grass every morning while listening to only the sounds of the stream, birds and the occasional moo from the beautiful cows on the property. (Don’t let that scare you off, even they are beautiful☺️) Morning strolls are exceptional on the property. As you can see we were very pleased with it all.

Summary: This home was perfect for our family while in town for our son’s wedding! It was clean and spacious. The location on the river was beautiful! We had visits by a family of deer each day. Highly recommend this beautiful home!

Summary: This ranch house is great! Perfect if you want separate kid/adult spacing. Relaxing sounds of the country/nature, while close enough to make a quick or extended trip down to the beach! Open & spacious inside, enough seating for everyone. While the deck is wide open for relaxing & playing beer pong & cornhole as we did! We will definitely be back to this ranch, we had a great relaxing extended weekend to end our summer! Sara B.
