Summary: It was older property and fit our family quite nicely. The porch with all the windows was nice for all of us to sit and have our meals. The only comment I have is that we were killing wasps and there was a hole on the side of the porch where they were coming in. The windows could have been cleaner also. The kids loved the loft. The 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms worked out great for us too!! It was a nice stay.

Summary: We had a great week at this property. The house was big enough for all of us to have space. The house was fully stocked in the kitchen. Although another large frying pan would have been nice. We enjoyed watching sunsets from the lower lawn or the porch. The lake was quiet most of the week. We made good use of the paddle boat to get everyone out to deeper swimmable water. Water around the dock is shallow and weedy. But the water is nice if you take the boat out a little ways. There are of course things that could be updated or refreshed. Maybe less carpet in the kitchen and porch area. You have to buy bottled water because the water is very irony and you can taste it. Overall the cabin was good for our needs. We also love reading about Hazel and Harold.

Summary: We rented this cabin at the last minute and it was well worth it. We were able to communicate with the owner when we had a question and she got back to us right away. The house had everything we needed and was clean. The kids enjoyed sleeping in the loft as well. We will hopefully be back next year!
