Positive: The hotel was easy to find and set in a pretty courtyard garden. There was plenty of parking even though the hotel was very busy. Our room was small but very comfortable and had everything we needed included an en-suite, fan and extra heater. Although we arrived later than expected the family run business were very accommodating and ensured we were served with a tasty evening meal.The meal, we had a fantastic Mexican dish, was exceptional and very good value for money. The owners were friendly and welcoming.

Negative: Nothing we didn’t like.

Summary: The hotel was in a good location just off the main 303 road to the West Country.

Positive: A lovely Manor House, the hosts were tentative to our needs during the stay.

Negative: The only thing that was an issue was the noise coming from the bathroom ventilator in the room above ours when the guest had left it on over the night. The host kindly spoke to the guest above our room and switched it off.

Summary: We had a nice stay, the Mexican restaurant at the hotel was enjoyable.

Positive: The hotel was homely and quirky with a modern touch in a perfect location. Our room was amazing with double aspect windows which was just as well as the weather was so hot. Staff were amazing the front of house ladies very helpful and friendly also gave us ideas for places to visit. The mexican night is a must food was delicious best we have had and our waiter was so helpful about portion sizes. This place is a hidden gem well worth a visit we will definitely be back.

Positive: Pretty much everything! The accommodation was clean and comfortable. We loved the outdoor seating under the beautiful Horse Chestnut tree. The hosts were very chatty and welcoming. The evening meal in their Mexican restaurant was absolutely first class. And all for a very reasonable price. Loved it!

Negative: If we're going to be very pernickety, the breakfast coffee was rather weak (for our tastes, at least!), but really not a big deal given the overall excellence.

Summary: A little gem of a find. Clean, well run accommodation and a great Mexican restaurant to boot.
