Positive: What a welcome! Right on cycle route EV6 well signed and available all day for refreshments as well as accommodation. Need more like this! Hosts clearly enjoyed their visitors and made us so welcome and at home.

Negative: Toilet not en suite but didn’t affect our stay

Positive: David and Catherine were great hosts cooked us a lovely meal beef stew and veg and provide a great cheese board for dessert. There was many bottled beers to be drunk and very reasonably priced. The beds were so comfortable even the pillows were perfect for me. Best night sleep I have had at a bed and breakfast. They even offered to put our motorbikes in there garage which was a great touch. With me and my friend speaking very very little french and them speaking little English they invited their English friend that lives across the road to have dinner with us as not to make it awkward at dinner which again was a fantastic touch. We had great time and much laughter with her translation between the french and English jokes. Breakfast was a traditional french cheese ham croissant and home made Jams that were delicious especially the apricot one. Would love to stay again if we are ever passing that way on another one of our trips. Thanks for makeing us welcome and a fantastic start to your bike tour.

Positive: The owners were very friendly and welcoming. We were served a good value lovely french traditional dinner in a group setting with other guests.

Negative: We didn't realise when booking that there wasn't a toilet within our "private bathroom" i.e. within our room. We have since checked the booking.com description and it's very deceving and there's only two pictures of the room. The room was very small and we've had much better value elsewhere. In fact, given the name of the accommodation, we thought we were booking a Logis brand hotel and don't want others to be mistaken like we were. While the experience was pleasant, we feel some of the descriptions on the booking.com may be better worded.
