Positive: Island is beautiful and although small it was nice to walk around. The seaside around island is amazing, we've seen tons of fish, sharks, and even snorkeld with cute turtle. Food was great, staff us great and very attentive. This hotel also surprised me with awesome gym, this was first time I was extremly happy with hotel gym :)
Negative: There's one thing that really annoyed me. If you get a non water villa, you'll hear some machinery working 24/7. It's probably some water processing or generator and I understand that we as guests need water and electricity but it still was very annoying. It wasn't magical quite experience that I expected.

Positive: We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Nova Maldives during the first half of August 2025. We booked both a Sunset View Villa and a Water Villa, and both were exceptional. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was a special place. The design of the villas is truly “Instagrammable” – stylish, modern, and incredibly comfortable. Everything was meticulously clean and met the highest standards. The staff deserves special recognition for their outstanding hospitality. They were consistently friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile, making us feel genuinely welcome and well-cared for. The dining experience was a highlight as well. The food offered a good variety and was consistently delicious, catering to different tastes. The resort itself is beautifully maintained, with pristine grounds that contribute to a serene and tranquil atmosphere. It’s the perfect setting to completely disconnect from the hustle and bustle of city life and truly relax. We genuinely cannot recall any aspects that we disliked. Nova Maldives truly delivered on all fronts. A little tip for future guests: don’t forget to pack plenty of high-SPF sunscreen! The tropical sun here is wonderfully warm, but it’s also quite intense, so protecting your skin is essential for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Positive: - Pool villa facing the ocean was awesome - my wife and daughter loved it - All inclusive was great - Plenty of fish to see - also saw nurse sharks and rays - Japanese restaurant was absolutely great and with good ambiance
Negative: - floating breakfast was nice as an experience but was okay - for food, variety would have been good - did not expect to take sea plane and then boat

Positive: The location was absolutely incredible, and the staff were outstanding. The excursions were a highlight that was fun, well-organized, and truly made the trip memorable. Our housekeeper, Sharaf, was fantastic, and the excursion team was top notch
Negative: We booked a jacuzzi room, but the jacuzzi never worked. Each time we tried, it would start up and then show an error. Since we were only there for two nights, my wife and I didn’t want the hassle of moving rooms or having an engineer interrupt our time together. When I mentioned it to the front desk, their response felt dismissive - focused more on protecting their bottom line than on fixing the issue. This attitude reflected a broader theme throughout our stay: constant nickel-and-diming. We purchased the “all-inclusive” package, but far too many items were excluded. Drinks, food, excursions, water sports, rentals, minibar, even basic things, came with asterisks and extra charges. Every menu was filled with fine print. For a resort positioned as high-end, it felt cheap and misleading.
