Positive: The staff at the reception are very friendly and very helpful. Top !
Negative: The breakfast room (on the first day) was messy and dirty, the manager was chatting with personel and denied our presence, not even an "Hello". The parking below is convenient, it is from a private company and very expensive, and these costs aren't shared with the hotel. There is no free parking space near the hotel, or you should walk about 3 km... If you are not familiar with the city, the route (from the and to the highway) to the Hotel is changed and complicated. Everywhere camera's to catch you if you do something wrong (min. 58 EUR). Be aware.
Summary: Good, but at the end visiting Mechelen is expensive.

Positive: Great location. Walking distance to a variety of restaurants and a relatively short walk to the train station. Would definitely stay here again but did notice that prices vary pending on booking seasons.
Summary: Great stay for our family. This was base for us to travel elsewhere and it was very convenient.

Positive: Very nice no-nonsense hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable. Pleasant staff. Superb location.
Negative: The only negative thing was lack of socket in the bathroom (there was only one for a shaver).

Positive: Excellent location. Welcoming staff en Modern decor (the decor isn't special, but the atmosphere is nice). There is a Q park only one minute from the hotel where you can park your car. A day ticket was 27.6 euros for one night. Shops, cafés, restaurants are all nearby too
Negative: The pillows on the bed are too flat. Luckily I had read reviews from other guests and brought my own pillows. If there's one thing I'd recommend this hotel to improve it's to purchase new pillows!
