Positive: The chalet we stayed in was immaculately clean. Fantastic staff. Lovely and quiet. Good facilities. A great base to explore the north of Kruger. Frozen meat available from the shop along with a good selection of alcohol, tins, and other useful stuff.

Positive: Unfortunately we were only booked for 1 night so that we could go back in to Kruger Park the next day. We loved it here. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable, very clean and had all kitchen equipment needed for self catering. The rustic huts are very private, well spaced out and overlook the river. We like that you have to light a donkey for hot water, which provided plenty for our needs. We also like the honesty shop and bar. We had an evening meal provided by local women which was very reasonable. If you like birds, there were plenty on the large grounds which has walking trails. They also have a local who will guide for birding but we sadly didn't have time, we bought some of his homemade peanut butter though. The roads to the camp are pretty bumpy but it is pretty close to Pafuri Gate and well worth it. The owners are really lovely and we would definitely like to come again but for longer next time.

Positive: The beautiful gardens and all the birds. The unit is extremely well fitted with everything you could possibly need and extremely comfortable.
Negative: It’s completely off the grid and I wasn’t aware before arrival. This means no hair dryers, or charging appliances. There is also only signal to MTN in certain places and WiFi provided is only 100MB, the rest you have to purchase.

Positive: This place blew us away. Stunning location under gigantic baobabs. It was immaculate and the attention to detail and care put into the facilites was evident everywhere. Cherry on the top was a meal in the charming community on - site restaurant.

Positive: We stayed in one of the tents which is the best way to enjoy the sounds of the bush during night time. The kitchen is top notch with all utensils you can think of one can need. The toilet and shower are very nice and clean and the outdoor shower is of course not too missed. The lapa offers the opportunity to lounge during the day or evening, and the shop is well stocked (obviously no fresh produce). The property is beautifully landscaped and very well maintained with a swimming pool to cool off on a hot day. There are a number of trails on the premises to take you on a hike amongst the wide diversity of trees. We had dinner prepared by the local ladies one night which was delicious. Above all, Analieze and Kobus are fantastic hosts.
Negative: Nothing. But wished we had a 4WD to explore the surroundings.
