Positive: I had a wonderful stay at this place! From the moment I arrived, it felt so cosy and welcoming—truly like a home away from home. Everything was spotless and very well-kept, with such thoughtful attention to detail throughout. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was absolutely amazing, with lots of delicious options and beautifully presented. You can really tell how much care has gone into making this place not just comfortable but special, with little features that make the stay extra memorable. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, charm, and genuine hospitality.

Positive: I liked the space and extra homely touches. I liked the welcome and openness of the hosts, I felt comfortable that they would be ready to help in any way. It was nice to have a table and chairs outside as the weather was very hot, and take in some evening air with a glass of wine. The continental breakfast and drinks tray had everything you could need.
Negative: The duvet was a thick winter duvet, so I had to sleep on the top of the bed on the hottest night of the year so far. I didn't sleep very much, and I'd have given anything for a fan 🥵 (I have to add that had it been a winter night, the bed would have been magnificent). The poor plants are struggling and need repotted and some TLC!

Positive: Peaceful, private, and perfect location. I much prefer home from home over hotel stays and number 78 is exactly that. It's great to be able to sit on a sofa in a living room with a range of streaming apps and TV channels I'm used to at home, rather than be confined to a bed with limited channels. Hosts were accommodating as initially, I was expecting to arrive late at night which they had zero issues with. Parked right outside the front door. And had a great selection of included breakfast options and a fantastic choice of honesty box drinks and snacks.
Negative: There is not one bad word I can honestly say about number 78

Positive: The accommodation was exceptional! Nothing was too much trouble for Phill and Toni and all the little extras were just perfect ☺️ The location was excellent and there was lots of lovely walks in the area as well as a pub and a garden centre. We'll definitely be back

Positive: Hosts were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The place was extremely well thought out with lots of lovely little extra touches. Breakfast was plentiful and well-presented. Loved the idea of the ‘honesty box’. Great location.
