Positive: Plenty of parking, friendly hosts, nice communal area with bar. Good amount of tea/coffee in room. Breakfast was lovely. Although I have a fair few things I didn’t like it’s a great place is you just need somewhere for the night (I personally wouldn’t want to stay longer than that). Very convenient location!
Negative: TV in room didn’t work (however I was only there 1 night and was out majorly of time) When I arrived all windows were open and there was only a small portable heater which was a bit temperamental in working. As others had mentioned decor is not the best, needs more outdoor lighting and some sort of light switch for hallways upstairs as I had to use a torch to get from my room to the Main Street.
Summary: Was good for one night, friendly hosts, good breakfast, but hotel itself isn’t great

Positive: A great host, an open fire to enjoy on a cold night, warm rooms with comfortable beds, everything was clean , a great breakfast and all in a guesthouse full of character. Perfect.
Negative: We had to move on.
Summary: This was probably our favourite night in a 6 week holiday.

Positive: It was in a quiet location about 10 mins walk from the High Street. It was a good price and breakfast was included. Room and communal areas were clean and comfortable.
Negative: Lack of lighting in the driveway made it hard for a pedestrian to approach easily. No working light switch on the staircase when descending.
Summary: Good value for money - a few tweaks to the lighting would help greatly

Positive: Comfortable, good value and a really convenient location.
Negative: A little dated but had charm. The hot breakfast was nice but rather sparse with the one of everything approach, not what I had hoped for after a night out.

Positive: Clean, comfortable, warm, room. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment here. Decor could be updated, but my main criteria is somewhere clean, comfortable and quiet with parking and it met this criteria.
Negative: Decor could do with updating. Shower didn't warm up on one of the days.
