Positive: Everything new. Great location to Ximending and station. Water fillers with hot and cold water in the hallway and lounge area. Loved the lounge area in the basement with snacks, coffee, microwave, sparkling water, and massage chairs.

Summary: Awesome place. Would definitely stay again. Kevin and his team were great.

Positive: Oani Hotel is one of the best dormitories I’ve stayed in. The place is brand new, with high-end furnishings and solid amenities. The common space and pantry are great for working and relaxing, and I appreciated the massage chairs, coffee machine, sparkling water dispenser, drinks, and the laundry room.

Negative: During my seven-day stay, they shut the common space down from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. for three days. That’s a core amenity, and I couldn’t access it for a large part of my stay, so I ended up working from cafes instead. If it needs cleaning or renovation, that’s fine, but closing it for full days during peak hours is unreasonable. It left a bad taste in my mouth, and I probably won’t stay there again.

Summary: Great dorm, but the common area closures ruined it

Positive: quietness and the mess hall for guests which was quiet too, the massage chairs were a big bonus and the unlimited coffee and light snacks were very comforting

Negative: more shelf space lacking in room, also the room was a bit small, no chair nor cabinet, more hooks in bathroom would have been great as well

Positive: Great location near the MRT, making it very convenient to get around. Free beer and snacks were available during designated hours, and complimentary drinks were offered at all times. The staff spoke excellent English and were very courteous and friendly. Our family room was spacious, well-appointed, and conveniently located near the elevator. We appreciated the separate doors for the shower and toilet, allowing two people to use them at the same time. The beds were comfortable, and it was nice to have a choice of pillows (soft and medium). The café downstairs also serves excellent salt bread, comparable to Jayeondo Salt bread in Seoul!

Negative: The shampoo did not lather well. The in-room safe was not secured to the cabinet, which could be improved for better security. We also would have liked breakfast options to be available.
