Summary: Reception was not very welcoming. Was strict on 3pm checkin. Then at 3pm multiple people at same time tried checking in. Excuse was rooms not ready . Many rooms are ready so as regular traveler and hotels.com gold member traveler, i would ask the management to be like 99.9% of motels that checkin from 2pm but also very often are polite and welcome people who are a bit earlier. Otherwise the room was ok, but again i was meant to be in a room with pool view but suddenly got changed , was not impressed . So i hope management see this and take appropriate steps to fix and be more welcome to paying guests if they want return visits as ive stayed in taupo over 100 times and never had such an experience.

Summary: Great affordable place for families. Right on the boardwalk for a bike to town or feed the ducks outside. Great pool facilities! Comfortable place would stay again

Summary: property is a little dated & minor items were a bit irksome. e.g. toilet seat would not stay up & one handle on bathroom door was loose. Otherwise enjoyed our stay

Summary: The spa pools both private and outdoor were too low temperature. The receptionist could tell us about we could use the next hotel spa and sauna when I went to get the key for the spa just before 5pm. The sofa’s spring was noisy and uncomfortable. One of light bulb was not working. Inside drawer of cupboard was dirty and one of place wasn’t clean. Not enough coffee.

Summary: The room was very dark and dated, the couch was old and needed a deep clean. One of the bedrooms had a leak and we were moved to the Millennium. Staff were very kind and helpful. The heated pool was nice although the floor needed a vacuum.

Summary: The rooms were suitable for our family stay however they really require a make over. Very old rooms with great location. Parking is not close to rooms by the beach
