Enjoy our spacious 3-bedroom, Ocean City getaway beach house located on a large corner lot within the Assateague Pointe Resort gated community. Our beach house features a large living room, separate dining area, full kitchen with 3 bedrooms consisting of queen, full, and single size beds, plus a new queen size Simmons sleeper sofa. Other home amenities include a dish washer, washer/dryer, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, electric range, microwave, water filtration system, Keurig Coffee/Brewing System, standard coffee maker, two wireless landline phones with unlimited domestic long distance and new central air conditioning system with touchscreen control to keep your family comfortable during your stay.
After a long day of fun in the sun, unwind in the evening by enjoying flat screen High Definition LCD TVs in all three bedrooms and the living room with Xfinity X1 High Definition television package. You can also login to your Netflix or Amazon Prime account as well. Furthermore, the large high-definition TV in the living room is connected to a DVD/Blue Ray Home Entertainment System and for the kids (and maybe some adults) there is a Nintendo NES Classic Edition Mini Game Console system in the living room entertainment center with many preinstalled games (no game cartridges needed).
For your security, this family-oriented community is gated and patrolled by Assateague Point personnel on an hourly basis after normal business hours so you can have additional piece of mind when you and your children are out exploring the community late into the evening. Assateague Point Resort is located in the West Ocean City area just 3.2 miles off Route 50 and 5 minutes from downtown Ocean City and Assateague Island. Outlet shopping and the new Ocean Down Casino/trotter track is within 5 minutes as well as go cart tracks, many great restaurants, bars, grocery stores, drug stores, gyms, salons and spas. About 15 minutes away is Historic Berlin which has a great selection of galleries, antique stores, restaurants and golf.
**Beach House Not Rented for Sr. Week or to Students**
My beach house is only rented to families and adult couples and the onsite point of contact (POC) staying at the beach house must be at least 25 years old. I don't rent my place for Sr. Week or to students and failure to comply will result in the immediate loss of the security deposit and possible legal repercussions.

Summary: Our family of 6 stayed here and, while it was a little tight, it was a wonderful stay. We loved the pools, fishing pier and game room as well as the proximity to shopping, restaurants, Assateague and Ocean City. The owner was very kind and responsive.

Summary: The house is beautiful, well maintained and in a peaceful community. Joe is a great communicator and an outstanding host. We enjoyed everything about this property. As you can see in the pictures, it has a lot to offer. You will definitely be making the right choice if you choose to stay here.

Summary: Had a great stay here in Ocean City during OC Bike Fest. Being able to come home to a clean, comfortable and quiet home away from home is just what I needed after a long day. I wish I had time to enjoy the pool and the activities within the gated community because they all looked wonderful. I'll definitely stay here again and highly recommend the property!!

Summary: This is the third property we've stayed at in Assateague Point. We liked it so much we hope to stay there again under these same conditions. Here are our reasons. First, it was so clean upon arrival: no sand on the floors, the bathroom was immaculate (this one I didn’t have to clean before we used it), the kitchen was neat, tidy and well stocked, there were no dust bunnies under the beds, the entire week we didn’t see one bug, mattresses had clean/new covers over them, furniture was clean and you feel comfortable sitting on it. Don't laugh, I've experienced all of these issues/problems at other beach rentals. Another big point: the mattresses are quite comfortable. When you are renting a place it is very difficult (if not impossible) to tell what condition the mattresses are in from the photos, so it is nice to know that someone who has stayed there finds them comfortable (no saggy places, neither too firm nor too soft). Also, the rental has a very nice entertainment system; something my husband and teen truly appreciated. We enjoyed watching and having such a great selection of movies and programming after a day at the beach. The included in-house WIFI was great. If you have to rely on the Assateague Point’s WIFI, you're out of luck, because the signal is so degraded. Not that I need to list everything that was right with this rental, but another thing was that the outside hose reel was anchored down and swivels on its base, keeping it from tipping over when pulling out and reeling up the high quality hose and nozzle. This allowed us to rinse off all our gear after returning from a day at the beach. You can tell this owner cares about his rental and uses it as well, so it is very well taken care of with lots of amenities. One thing to keep in mind is that you will need to bring your own blankets and pillows for beds. This was in the instructions but somehow we missed it. Other rentals have had pillows and blankets; however, I understand why some rentals might not want to furnish them. Keeping them sanitary/clean from one renter to the next can be an issue, so I can appreciate that none were provided. Lastly, the owner is a pleasure to work with. He was willing to work with us throughout the entire process of our stay and our security deposit came back to us quickly.
